Businesses, courts and the police have adopted artificial intelligence to assign scores to individuals based on poorly understood statistical analysis. The public needs to start a dialogue about whether or not we want to accept the ethics of this practice.
Throughout my research, I have been able to identify seven different scores maintained on individuals or locations. Here’s what I could find. You have a:
    • consumer score, which is now widespread among customer-oriented enterprises
    • Health Score and Driver Score, - both of which are sought by insurance companies and I already covered these two scoring systems in separate videos.
    • Credit Rating Score - used in lending, loaning and banking markets.
    • Job Applicant Score - most commonly deployed in resume scanning and candidate ranking
    • a risk-assessment score used in criminal justice system,
    • and a predictive policing score

Psycho-Pass was one of the coolest anime settings that I have ever seen. I took their dystopian perspective seriously. In 2012, Gen Urobuchi, Naoyoshi Shiotani, and Katsuyuki Motohiro were somewhat ahead of their time in creating the setting for Psycho-Pass. They pushed the technology to sci-fi levels, but the "Crime Coefficient," highly advanced biological computers (judge and jury), and police (executioner) are not that unbelievable to develop in our world. "Crime Coefficient" is a police score. In our world, we will eventually develop enough computing power to run high-end AI that can issue search warrants, verdicts, and etc. faster than a human judge. Police armed with super-high-end technology to kill criminals even quicker is only a matter of time.
Luckily in some countries, the justice system is slow and inefficient compared to the Psycho-Pass world, where it's quick and efficient in executing justice against latent criminals.

Bias, as it turns out, is an inherent characteristic of *learning.* Some saber-tooth tiger tried to eat someone; so all saber-tooth tigers are dangerous. Some cows gave someone milk and food; so all cows are a good thing. From the specific, to the general, to the specific again. Everything with any intelligence learns this way. (The cow gets a much higher score from humans than the tiger.)

We experience specific events that lead us to generalize, then apply that generalization to new specific cases in the future. @@joesterling4299 Pattern recognition. When you drill right down to the core, the ability to identify patterns is essentially the basis for IQ tests, and it's also what machine learning does. The thing about machine learning algorithms is that they're totally incapable of making abstract connections, they can only compute what they've been programmed to compute. That's why I don't believe this rudimentary AI will ever be a replacement for the human mind - and it's also why this entire discussion has such a deeply creepy, anti-human feel to it. The materialist paradigm has concluded that human beings are nothing more than biological algorithms, which is why these people (Globalists, primarily) think they can treat people as glorified inanimate objects. They don't believe consciousness is anything more than a byproduct of synaptic firings, they don't believe we have free will, so they disregard us as anything more than programmable widgets who can & should be completely controlled.

Then the masses feel guilty because the media forces all the propaganda as if who they voted for matters. The current democratic model is flawed and breeds mental illness because it creates a “us vs them” mindset and people become unhinged, it’s not about a nation’s prosperity or the good of the people, it’s about a bs nonsensical modern ideology designed to further control the masses and brainwash them into worshiping and liking their masters. This is designed to weaken Nationalism and strip a nation of it’s cultural heritage so that it can be replaced with a new one that’s more focused on consuming products from the state owned enterprises, control the masses through fear and artificial social issues so that they can keep one side against the other at all times. The people at the top don’t even care about the country that they rule; might not even be theirs but even if it were theirs they still wouldn’t care. All they care about is personal gain and to further their control, fortify their rule on others so that they may for ever stay at the top. Modern democracy is a scam.

Is it not possible that Amazon's resume' rating system was actually acting upon a verifiable reality: Are men more likely to work longer hours and less likely to quit or change jobs quickly? I was discussing with my girlfriend earlier that we, as humans, failed miserably over and over to combine our *soul*, or the collective nature of humans, with the technology we developed.
2020 was a year where violent crimes and shooting sprees by psychotic people spiked up higher than ever. Funny enough was the year where everybody was told to stay at home and "enjoy our technological amenities". What a miserable failure. Those same things that were thought to make our lives easier, happier, quicker, were the ones to take the sanity of struggling people with low conscience. The question stays: Are we just bacteria in a petri dish and this is the antibiotic, or are we the antibiotic?

    • @MadRobexe

Its more a matter of Elite Theory vs the rest of whatever country/society you are talking about.
Degeneration of discourse is inevitable, as there is no third party which can provide "truth" in a liberal society.
The naive and mythological belief that 'logic and reason' can form an objective foundation by which individuals can find common ground in a pluralistic world, has been totally obliterated.
This universalist way of thinking is completely wrong, and in hindsight, almost idiotic.
People determine 'truth' based off of their desire. If left to their own devices, they will simply form their own version of reality through the lens of their innate characteristics, their fears and desires, and their experiences.
But this doesn't happen within a vacuum, instead a concept of truth emerges from the prevailing culture and social norms--in our case,
that would be the ideology generated by the mass media, entertainment products, the education system, legal system, and political propaganda--simply because those have great impact on shaping a certain conformity of values that is necessary among individuals under a common banner.
The vast majority of people get their information and understanding of the world through those institutions. How irrational their beliefs are is irrelevant, because logic and reason only matter if there are consequences.
In an engineered world, the right kind of irrationality and superstition is rewarded and reinforced, while logic and reason become potential 'tools of the devil' which threaten the prevailing 'truth' ministry.
Individual desires therefore conform to whatever worldview is reinforced by the ‘carrot and stick’.
By definition, dissidents are those few who do not trust the popular 'truth' promoted by social institutions.
However, they are not removed or detached from their own desires, their own superstitions and biases, or their own emotional responses.
They could be just as irrational and imbecilic as the main herd of cattle in society but are simply mistrustful of the prevailing authority for some dogmatic or emotional reason.

Now add the current year buzzwords in to the mix, such as "Diversity" "intersectionality" "multiculturalism" "hate speech" "tolerance" "racism" and other elements that the elites use to club the normies of society and you understand that "they" want it this way, beacuse they are in a postition to exploit it against their own people and ofcorse others as well.

But if say the lion's share of resumes are from male candidates, doesn't that indicate that males are more interested in positions with Amazon? If so, why not just hire based on that criteria? That way, you can have a balance that is actually based on gender interests in these positions, instead of silly, ill conceived gender 'equality' quotas.
So, if say ~30% of resumes are from female job candidates, the hired pool should consist of around 30% (qualified) females. It seems like someone took the fact that more males were being hired as a consequence of more males applying and jumped to the conclusion that it must be gender bias.

I love all the arguments, great video! One thing to note though, not every company (and if I should say mainly multinational large ones) keep track of customer scores in regards to how a customer is treated... I mean they do track the data, but that data doesn't always translate all the way to the customer service. Thats a thought for a nearby future though. I can say this for sure as I have worked in customer support in several companies and more, most of the time (at least in European region) companies will outsource their customer support work to an external company that solely specializes in customer support. There is a certain extent to which companies can share information internaly between eachother, but I can definitely say for sure that the que lines while waiting for a support specialist to pick up your call are definitely not being tampered based on your customer score. One of the main reasons is because most of the time they are using various different proprietary softwares that are already hard to set up as it is, let alone modify the inputs or outputs in regards to external data (unless the call software is open source).
AI automated systems and data analysis is quite expensive! So it really depends on how large the company is...
Supporting local business is quite a good idea if you prefer to stay away from being tracked, the large companys DO have the capability but it only goes so far and likely extends to their partners and not local businesses.
