- “Just being disarming darling.” James Bond (Roger Moore) and Solitaire (Jane Seymour) receive an unexpected visitor to their train carriage in the shape of henchman Tee Hee (Julius W. Harris) in LIVE AND LET DIE. Harris said, “When we had the fight on the train, Roger and I rehearsed that whole thing together. We didn’t want any stuntmen because it was impossible for someone to double for me.” Directed by Guy Hamilton.

2:23 The way Tee Hee shouts "NO!" when he realizes his claw is locked 🤣🤣
Classic scene from a great debut from Sir Roger moore RIP.The laugh on the train by baron samedi. Will never be forgotten brilliant and Jane Seymour too a great woman.
The sound of those two metal wires snapping from Tee Hee's metal arm always gets me !!!
Haha 😂
Real solid down to earth physical action..no crappy CGI
Well, at least he had good manners.
Nice suit, polite greetings at the start.. this guy is clearly office employee material !
Julius Harris as Tee Hee - one of yhe great henchmen.
I love his evil grin.
He was also Pelham 123 on 1974 🙄
rami lepa and I thought he’d be taller...
@@geoffrogerson9937 6 ft 3.5 in (1.92cm)
Great sinister character
Great line...just being disarming darling...hahaha
I love how Roger took to the role with ease and made his sense of humour part of Bond. ...this is still an awesome film and great to watch .....Moore was boyishly handsome
He was older than Sean Connery.
@@aspenrebel Didn't bloody look it though did he? He looked great for his first 5 films - but showed his age a bit in OP, and looked silly in AVTAK.
@@tcaudiobooks737 I didn't think he was too bad in AVTAK he wasn't like Connery in DAF where he was really out of shape, however, having said that, I think Dalton should have taken over in AVTAK and gone through Goldeneye with his M and Moneypenny.
@@tcaudiobooks737i don't think he was bad in octupussy, but sure he should have left after that movie because in AVTAK he looks like he has done plastic surgery in his Face and it's pretty distracting, but he still didn't gave a bad performance or he qas overly fat, unlike connery in DAF who looked rough and bored to be in
I love how Bond keeps his cool at 0:53 and assesses the situation
Naturally
I know.
People say Moore didn't have the cold killer vibe to him but I think this scene shows he has it.
Bond being Bond...
Jane Seymour was a little baddie back in the day.

2:16 The "hey" for some reason threw me into hysterics when I watched this long ago with my friends, to the point where I had to leave the room in tears. ... they waited the 30 minutes for me to calm down just to play it again when I came back in again ^^
It was the noises of the strings that got me while they were being cut 😂😂
i shit myself with laughter and then threw myself down some stairs. 30 mins later i was still vomiting giggles.
Strings removed like a puppet
Mr Bond. It’s good to see you again 😂
The casting of this movie was absolutely spot on.
Every character was memorable

"just being disarming darling" legend
How bond could disarmed arm after he drooped tee hee and tee hee couldn't. Wire had been cut in both situation and the arm stucked on the window
this great line was ruined in some european versions because they dubbed it to say something very different and stupid. The germans are the worst, they pretty much ruined every movie from the 70s with their nonsensical dubbing.
"Now what are you doing" man she is so innocent and cute it hurts my ❤️
@MMA-Life:
A 19-or-20-year-old Jane Seymour :-)
(I don't remember which-of-the-two--she-was in this movie).
That was great character Tee Hee...his smile is real sinister...great characterizations by all
1:02 Love that punch. Sounds powerful as hell 😅
02:53 her beauty here is just unreal
The villain must have CLAWED his way to the top.
I’ll see you out
*BOOOOOOOOO !!!*
.. mattress. And yet he needed some help to make an exit. The help which 007 has politely provided.
bad joke claw blimey
No, he took a CABLE car.
Roger Moore And Jane Seymour
I Love Them So Much
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I Love Live And Let Die ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Great line...just being disarming darling...hahahaha
That's amazing that its the two actors doing this, especially considering at the time they would often just switch them out for stunt doubles.
PPP L
Back when a soundtrack didn’t define the action of a scene.
Looks like 007 make sure to give Tee Hee a good "farewell to arms"
Yeah, let's give him a hand!
I see what you did there ! 🍸

How is it that every time 007 rides a train, he always gets into trouble. Lol
Well there's Casino Royale's train scene... tho he's arguably getting himself into trouble there as well, just not the usual kind.
@@KyoukiJuuno In the videogame version of that train he gets into trouble if that counts
@@sirpizo555 video games never count -unless you are about 12
Maybe because James Bond is "trained" to face any personal danger.
It's because Fleming was fascinated with trains after almost being killed by it.
Tee Hee's laughter hehehehe hey he!! 😆 always puts a smile on my face
Bond activates special move "use opponent's physical disability against them"! It's super effective!!
Maybe I‘m in the minority but I think music-wise, Live and let die is the best film in the series! George Martin did it better than any of John Barry‘s and David Arnold‘s! The title song is top 3 worthy too!
Well, the fifth Beatle had a rocking soundtrack, but I wish it was used more for the chase scenes instead just having music at the very end of the chases
It was definitely a smart move getting McCartney and led the producers to go after more popular artists for the theme music, it got them on the radio and brought in a younger audience
I Love You Roger Moore James Bond My Sweetheart Darling ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nobody would get between me and Jane Seymour, either! Not the best Bond Girl, to be sure... but damn, what a cutie!
🍸😂
Right on! She was undoubtedly the best thing about the film!
The characters were all great. The plot less so.
She was only 21 in this and married to Richard Attenborough's son
The old deck of cards in the face routine 🤣
Of course he'll conveniently have a open tool bag with a wire clipper within easy reach... essential train travel accessory for a gentleman
Naturally.
I always thought that was Solitaire's manicure implements; my mother had similar case and tools when I was a kid.
@@davidpoole468 only if she's also Wolverine...
Carlton Lee I never said she used the larger implements in the kit, only that she had a manicure kit similar to the one in the movie. :-)
@@davidpoole468 one wonders why there should be larger implements in the kit at all? :)
Какая ты милашка просто не возможно перед такой милой девушки у держать своё желание❤🎉
Absolutely beautiful
Tee Hee was a pre-curser to Jaws.
and much better too
They should have teamed up; claws and jaws!
One of the most beautiful women ever...my god...
this was a really intense and cool fight in great Roger Moore's debut film. LALD is such a cool, it ties for me as best Moore's effort, along with FYEO and TSWLM.
the one handed guy was just trying to make an appointment with dr Quinn
Sean Connery will always be the real James Bond for me but Roger Moore wasn’t bad in this. The boat chase scene is one of the best of any Bond film.
Best fights are always in train.
Then the ending shows Baron Samedi, at the front of the train, laughing.
Note: RIP to Geoffrey Holder (Baron Samedi).
They should’ve had Baron Samedi return in another Roger Moore Bond film. They could’ve potentially bought him back in ‘Octopussy.’ What a wasted opportunity.
Baron is still alive! 😜
Oh great you spoiled it ;)
That ending sort of scared me when I first saw it.
It’s really goofy that Tee Hee has a cyborg bionic arm.
Very nice short film 👏
I miss Roger Moore! :(
he's the only Bond I like.
Look how he locked that mans clawhand to the window and then throws him out of the train
There needs to be a henchman with a chainsaw for an arm.
Gupta from TND was originally supposed to be a card throwing henchman! I think he would have been similar to the knife throwing twins. Plus, you say chainsaw, Octopussy has assassins with a spinning Yo-yo-saw! Plus the knife throwing twins and Gobinda! Who would wanna mess with any of these guys?😬That can compete with a chainsaw!
@@davider6884 Yeah, shame they dropped gupta's card stuff
DoctorSauce It doesnt help that there is a deck of cards next to him in almost every scene he‘s in
Played by Bruce Campbell, of course.
he he he heey he he he heey 😅
I've only just noticed that that compartment has external windows on opposite sides (the one Tee Hee tries to push Bond through, and the one Bond pushes Tee Hee through).Yet apparently there's also a corridor along one side of the carriage....
Nice

This film shows Japan to the best effect !

EEEEEEEEYAAAAAHH!

From what I heard, this fight was also a homage to the fight between Cary Grant's character and George Kennedy's character in Charade (1963).
2:49 Solitaire must be deaf. Didn't hear any of the fighting going on? W8evs
Lol
Funny how that claw made his arm 20cm longer. You can clearly see he's got a full working hand in there. :D
ALMOST a wardrobe malfunction !!

Nice!
Aaaa young Jane Seymour.... little do you know that by that stage she was married, and divorced to Lord Richard Attenborough's son
Really? She was only 22 lol

I think Tee Hee is as funny as Baron Samedi.
All the villains had really funny names in this film.
Tee-Hee
Mr Big
Whisper
Baron Samedi
Mr Chuckles
Dr Phat-Head
The king of Sting
The master of disaster
The count of Monte-Fisto
Tee hee laughs like a crackhead😃
AYYYYYY
How did she not hear all the noise they were making when fighting?
Was the room made of Thermo all or wood
When will baddies learn that never go hand to hand combat with Bond. He has thrown JAWS out of the window of a running train
thanks shagdeep - profound observation
3:02 hahahaha hahahahaha

East or west James Bond is best.
Does 007 ever get a break
Jane Seymour is one of the most beautiful women ever. ❤
She is 72 today 😢 older
Isn't Baron the same one who did those 7-Up commercials from that time - the Uncola Nut?
Yes, he is the 7up guy.

Oui, oui.
Hey! Who turned out the lights?
I wonder where Tee Hee aka Mr Big landed when he had a window ejection view in front of him.
If the train was on top of the bridge, Tee Hee would fall in the water.
@@jamesthong2508 probably and with crocodiles to meet up with him too.
Cute movie... I would like to see it in Spanish and complete
Learn English and cut the crap. Seriously.
It Would be cool to see this scene With The music That George Martin actually did for it
Hope that train was insured

Come on. Couldn't have shown the ending of Baron Samedi laughing on the train? It was like 12 seconds more.
007 ✔
01:06 Tee Hee karate.
The only thing I hate about this film is that they were in NYC for like, 30 minutes?
Jamaica scenes make up for it ?
@@JamesBondCanada Well it's cheaper to film in Jamaica than in New York City, lol
greatwuta totally
When Mr. Harris is on screen, he is the best thing about this film. Roger would need more time to become the bond character. Also on the plus side is an absolutely gorgeous Jane Seymour.
Had to get McCartney just to sell the idea of no Connery
I never liked Connery as Bond.
Baron Samedi *Laughing*
Her aerola is visible on 02:53
areola and no-one cares. proof - no-one is going to bother looking.
