Manny Charlton knows a thing or two about playing the guitar. He has done so for over 60 years. Incredibly, nobody has asked him about his guitars before - until now.

Award-winning blues rock band THE FLUFFY JACKETS are back with a new album ‘Something from Nothing‘ and a 2 hours documentary film featuring Manny Charlton (Nazareth) and as special guest Neil Murray (Whitesnake).
The nine new tracks on ‘Something from Nothing‘ are “all killer, no filler”, as the saying goes. Five originals and four covers make up this album, showcasing a tribute to Glen Campbell’s “Better Place” (featuring Alison Cooper) and a new single/music video for “Everything must change”:
The documentary was filmed over a three-year period in Spain, Scotland, England and Norway and shows the band making ‘Something from Nothing‘ with producer Manny Charlton. The two-hour documentary film also highlights THE FLUFFY JACKETS history along with exclusive interviews, live performances and four new music videos. Bonus material include retrospective interviews with special guests Neil Murray (Whitesnake), Manny Charlton (Nazareth) and up-close inspection of guitars and amplifiers including a Gibson Flying V guitar previously used to record the Nazareth albums Play’N the Game (1976) and Expect No Mercy (1977).

Manny is an insanely underrated guitarist. IMO he can outplay Page and Iommi anyday.
Having spent time with him in the studio, you are spot on. Not only a truly gifted player, but he has an immaculate sense of melody and a touch & tone to die for..

Lol you're missing the point. In a world full of rap music we should be thankful for all rock and roll.
In the 70's I heard Nazareth play live many times. They always seemed to play in Knoxville . Manny sounded thunderous but wht clarity. His marshalls sounded perfect. Him being the only guitarist made it easy to hear what he was doing. He is a great player too.
Nazareth was one of my all time favorite bands. "Close enough for Rock and Roll" is my favorite Nazareth album.

@@thefluffyjackets1698- Cant post pictures in comments. It was the guitar Manny used for Nazareth's 1984 "The Catch" album. It is a Chandler Strat. Came with 2 different necks. I believe Manny liked one neck better to the other.

Sorry, I do not use any social media platforms, I use youtube only at this point because of various videos I made for various bands through the years. Those bands are asking me to leave those videos up for their fans. Even at that, I am still considering deleting YT anyway. I will check out your video!
