he's great but he sort of does rap lyrics set to folk metal. for what they are they're great but compared with ian anderson, say, he's amateurish. he's the best of the low quality lyricists

Martin walkyier is an absolutly genuine guy. had the privilage of meeting him many, many years ago. support him any way you can.
Top bloke and national treasure! Love his clever leverage of the language and the way he could easily be an opera singer. Hope to see Martin Live at some point.
I know what it's like to be a struggling artist, unfortunately the crap floats to the top! He has such talent that's just languishing in obscurity. If I win the lotto, I'll send him the bulk of my winnings just as a thank u for being such an inspiration to me, no jokes!
I don't understand why shit like this happens, IMHO it is an ABSOLUTE privilege to even meet this man, nevermind the to jam with him, AND now I hear he was pulling out old Venom tunes (which I loooooove to bits) as well - these people have no idea.

I wonder if the author Brian Bates is around and aware of the genius that spawned the supreme metal album by Martyn's old band Sabbat, Dreamweaver based on his book Way of Wyrd. Dreamweaver and consequently the book it's based on changed my life and my view of nature.
He was fully aware. He phoned Martin and they chatted
