I am one sigma female who likes being alone. Unfortunately I was so emotionally exhausted by a narcissist spouse that I had no choice to spill my gut to anyone who was willing to listen to my pains. I have learned the hard way and have no regrets because I would have been mentally ill. The end result is that I am stronger now shocked those who used to talk me down. I have so much freedom for myself, enjoying what i want to do, what i want to eat, where i want to go, with whom i want to be . Choose the clothes to my style. I have been contributing my effort, my time, my ideas, my responsibilities for others 80% of my life before. So this is my sweet time left for myself. Those under my supervision have been successful, have their own life, so i have done my best for others. I have friends, family, relatives, but i can still choose my sweet time. I deliberately talk about the minor and least troublesome problems in my life to everyone and make a big thing out of it. This way, other people not only chase after that ( not knowing what my real issues are) also I get to understand them, ie how they use this irrelevant information against me ( making fools of themselves) while I keep my vital problems to share with a rare friend who I can trust! 😂
I used to overshare in some relationships as a compensation for some wounds I had. And my emotional thinking can sometimes overtake me still. My main reason for not sharing deeply (until trust and mutual understanding has been built) is that many people do not introspect deeply and don’t
