I love the wide noodle dishes I know as chow fun. It's my favorite. Very few restaurants serve this dish. If they do, they use a much narrower noodle than what is shown in your vid. Charring the noodle is the key!
Yes, it would be very hot. When I was young, I worked in my grandfather's restaurant in the kitchen. It was very hot but it would be extra hot, as you say, working in front of a wok. Thanks for checking out my video. All the best in the New Year.
@@DanSetoChineseCanadianRootsTV Always, and earlier this morning i was rewatching some of your older video's and it's only 8 AM here in The Netherlands.. 😄
@@vinniekay0967 Greetings to you in the Netherlands. I still have lots of videos from that time that I haven't uploaded. Years ago I pllayed in a hockey tournament in Zoetermeer and I got a chance to visit a nice Chinese restaurant in Amsterdam. It was a good trip.
Too bad the Kettybot is unable to clear tables. 😁 Nothing comparable to freshly made hand (or machine-assisted) pulled noodles. I was not aware of a Chinatown in Saskatoon unless the end of your clip was filmed in Vancouver?
I think you're referring to my video on Regina which has an unoffical Chinatown. I always heard Regina had a homeless situation but it is nothing compared to the homeless situation in Vancouver. That's why I showed a video clip of the Vancouver homeless situation at the end of that video. When I was in Saskatoon, I found out that they don't have a Chinatown anymore because it was bulldozed over and highrises and urban development was built over it. Thanks for checking out my video.
Just ate here this past week. So incredibly good

Add red chili pepper and more green onion, it will make it more entertaining for stomach. But nice presentation.
