You have got to put some rain caps on the stacks. The flaps from the stroke of the engine would make it 100% .

this might be a personal favorite and I've not even watched it yet, I got a compound turbo diesel tractor I pull, usually pulls 1st place every time, makes like 40 psi of boost and it's a 0.6L Kubota motor.

@@Bruce_Wilson i would be tempted! im in Ky lol. just got done watching and the lawntecs always leak, you can't buy a set of cut tires now days that don't leak around the bead, it's always been an issue, and another thing id 100% do is buy a shifter lock, the cub trans are extremely common to pop out of gear. Zack Kerber sells a billet posi lock, it's the same style as the big tractors, 2 sticks for shifters. MWSC also sells a stock style shifter that's got a built-in lock, btw with Kerber's top shaft kit and a few gear swaps you could do over 100 mph in 3rd. I know a guy that has a cub offroad mower that goes 73 mph in 2nd. some guys will also take the reverse gears out and add a 4th gear, and with all that power i wouldn't be surprised if you slipped the clutch, that looked like a single 5, if you get back in touch with Vogel get them to send you a mini spline or a big spline clutch, can be slipped infinitely and is a lot easier to leave the line with, the puck clutches just grab if they don't slip, if you slip a single much as all it'll junk it, the mini spline holds 100+hp diesels all day long and rarely needs rebuilt, the mini is also super adjustable and feels like a stock clutch, idk if you've heard of the 50.5 cube class but those are 25 hp v twins that spin 12k-14k rpm and make about 130-140 hp. you could put 3 50.5's on that thing 😅

That stretched three engine GT sounds pretty wicked and the single one with the Kohler should do well... those old Kohler K Series are near bullet proof... I have one. I would also ditch those red plastic fuel shutoffs for an all metal ball valve type sold by Oregon. The rubber o-ring drys out inside and cracks... I have had too much trouble with them especially the Chinese knockoffs. Oregon # 07-403, 1/4" Dia. fuel line. Good Vid Bruce!👍

I just wanted to let you know that I do garden tractor pull to and the best tire in the market for that style tractor is nickels tires or vm 11 or 08 and that will make a big difference.

That tire shine stuff may seem likes it makes the tires look better but after awhile, it will makes the tires crack more than normal and will make 'em wear out faster.
Got a 92 craftsman gt5000 that was sitting around a few years ago. Had sat so long it locked up. Randomly decided to pull it from the grave one day and yank the motor off and free it up and it freed well. Has the vtwin Kohler command. I brought it into the shop where I work after hours and slapped a small tdo3 turbo on it and made an atmospheric box for the carb and this thing is sweet. I would love to go full sled puller with it but way too many projects lying around lol. Love the vids

Love going to pulls. Granted, I follow the local circuits where they've got the modified 4x4s and farm tractors. Could only imagine what might happen if you built a four-engine modified tractor.

I’ve got a 1025r compact pulling tractor with a d1105t kubota 900cc injectors makes 150hp was a 39hp stock
Need to mount a winch on front of the 5th wheel or get one made to slide into your trailer hitch would make pulling load on to trailer so much easier as well as pulling them out of their holes

As a small engine mechanic with my own shop I've tried my luck with those Chinese carbs and they are hit or miss entirely. 90% or more of them have issues. You may be getting it cheaper but your sacrificing quality. Rebuild kits and ultrasonic cleaners are the way to go unless you can afford a new OEM carb.
Have you done the small block Chevrolet points conversion on the Koehler?

OEM kohler carbs will always be worth the hassel vs cheapo china knock off....rebuilding oem carbs are easy and there thick cast. Thick cast on oem leaves you more meat for Boring out venturi and having enough metal to bore and not hit the fuel passage gallerys. Not to mention casting thickness at flange mount being more Susceptible to Fatigue cracking. Nice cubs yes,nice china carb for quick running shure,but china carbs do not leave you room to improve or make the high HP kohler k series. Ive been on and off building a 1969 cub 126 puller for last 10 years myself and im just confused that you opted to buy vogel manufacturing wheels but couldnt source a oem #26 or #30 kohler carburetor. There on ebay and great example 5 months ago i found a double listing for $50 shipped a 1973 #30 and an early production #26 ,cores in great shape and ready for new life after ultrasonic bath ,throttle bushing kit,and a rebuild kit. And most cheap rebuild kits that come from brazil now can handle up to 30% ethonol. Yes its cheaper to buy new but is it worth underselling yourself and your skills/abilities and most importantly the journey of building and making power yourself.
Garden tractor pulling is a lot of fun my whole family does it Mom Dad and me and my son that three engine Cub cadet is really something I'd really like to try doing something like that someday good luck
