Thanks for this video. I am in Austin, bought a new mountain bike, getting ready to ride again. Grew up in NY/NJ (Rockey trails) and ready to ride in Emma Long.
Hell yeah. Chunk like that is what mountain biking is all about to me. I just left Bastrop after visiting my family; I got to checkout Freeride 512 in Smithville and while it was incredibly badass, that kind of chunk is what I always yearn for. I live out in West Texas so I’m fortunate to have stuff like this but it’ll be nice to check this out on my next visit. Solid riding man, keep shreddin. 🤙
Great video and commentary. Really captures the bizzaro world Emma MTB experience. The only trail I know where the ascents are the reward and all the big sends are on climbs. Also the only place I’ve gone OTB going uphill...how many laps did you manage? I usually tap out after 2 laps.
Brave man going fast downhill through those rocks and trees and catching air! It's tight in places and one false move!

Love this place...great way to get your heart going.
Thank you for the video, now I know I shouldn't go there yet 😂

I only managed to do 1 lap most of the time, but I also like to go back and try obstacles multiple times if I don't make it up
Have you been to the boneyard? its a trail I have heard good things of but have never gone to.
I haven't been to the boneyard yet, but it's on my list of trails to check out
