    The BEST part of this video is the lesson-session. I love hearing about what's freaking you out and screwing up your courage to do it. There are a million mtb videos of people sending it, but I loved seeing how each person on the ride overcame their fear. More of this, please! :)

    I started mountain biking in the 80's in Austin. Almost all of the great trails we rode were closed in the mid '90's. This stuff looks really fun!

    Hey, I will be visiting whistler bike park in a few months time and I dont know anyone there that knows the trail. What I am asking is (if you are free) if we can meet and give a tour of the park. But if you are unavailable it’s fine, but I just dont know what trail to do and I am the only one in my family that has a deep passion for mtb. Whistler mountain is my dream mtb park so it would help if you come

      You're gonna love it! Unfortunately I live about 14 hours away from Whistler, so meeting up would be tough. But I do have a big Whistler playlist on my channel that includes some videos on what to ride first when you get the Whistler. Check em out and hopefully they'll help. Just know that you pretty much can't go wrong at Whis!

    sounds like you are getting along with the bike, so far EvoLink, and Nicolai geometry g16 are on top of my list. for forks, MRP & Formula, DVO, BOS, but so much research to do. I can ride like you no problem with my fuel but the problem is the frame has flawed design and is too flexible, so have to rebuild it from time to time, a lastest fix was to swap out twisted seat stay.
    Maybe I should get I should get frame truing tools, definitely need a stiff frame, the Evo link looks quite stiff, any opinion yet?
    maybe I should just go for one of these, as my fuel frame is annoyingly bad. at least I got the old xc bikes rolling, in case my last fuel-ex-rideable fuel-ex fails, the rotor in the back keeps bending due to flex i nthe rear end, have to straighten it after almost every ride now, annoying it's Hope 160 floating rotor.
    The headset play: did you use Loctite on the stem bolts and let it cure? if not it's highly likely they loosen up.
    Cracks on tyres usually mean too much time in the sun, long-term exposure to sunlight can lead to cracks, but I I don't think you did that, but as you said manufacturing mishaps is likely, some of my Maxxis tyres had misaligned logos.
    I love hte attention to detail with Pole bikes, the sticker on the bottom of the downtube is a great idea, this is how it should be, info stated on the bike, I quite like it's a one peace rear triangle, this means stiffness.
    I look forward to future updates.
    I watched ua-cam.com/video/g8lvejbXXns/v-deo.html&ab_channel=PeterTistaken and it looks promising.

    • @Juicesters22
      @Juicesters22 6 років тому +1

      I womder how much does the Pole bike weighs

    • @mtbboy1993
      @mtbboy1993 6 років тому +1

      It depends on the build, but the frame is 3.6 KG (SIZE M INCLUDING HARDWARE WO SHOCK) taken from polebicycles.com/evolink/evolink-140/ DUrability is my main concern, I rather go for heavier if it's stronger & last longer. 13-14kg or above or below, seen a review mentioning 14kg, but as I mentioned it depends on how you build it up, it depend's on how much carbon you put on it, with decent lightweight component's it should nto be too heavy, but for me Alloy cranks is a must. But I recommend carbon bars, Race Face Sixc served me well but Seen too many carbon cranks fail.

    • @Juicesters22

      Johannes Nilsen thanks mate.. my Ion16 is about 15kg ish.... for tat weight.. surprisingly it didnt feel laggy at least until im totally drained out. Safe ride mate!

    • @mtbboy1993
      @mtbboy1993 6 років тому

      Nicolai are interesting too, but not checked the weight, I don't care much about it as long as it's strong, Hopefully, I can get a durable bike without major flaws, I think Evol ink and G16 will be a huge difference from what I ride now. Btu I want to research as much as I can.

      The rock drop? Ya it's pretty sketchy in person. The drop is decent, the trees are close, the landing is loose and it's really hard to scrub enough speed off before the loose turn at the bottom. There's a lot going on that the camera doesn't capture unfortunately!

    I just got out of the tire industry. Those cracks are tire age. All tires have a age limit. After that they are thrown away. Get that tire off your bike asap. Cut it off with tin snips. Pitch it. Maxxis over saturated the market and many are beyond usability.

    How can Canadians be the worst if Canada doesn't even exist?

    After riding the Santa Monica Mountains in SoCal for 30 years, then the past 7 in Austin...I basically hate it here. No long climbs where you can get into a rhythm, climbing up to the ridgelines with spectacular views. No switchbacks, no downhills, no speed. You are always pedaling here. But I'm not complaining, at least there's trails. Could be living in Oklahoma.
