  • Dont forget to like, subscribe and follow - this is a video inspired by the likes of Paul Mesner, Dave Outdoors etc - this video shows me packing my 68 Litre backpack with all my wild camping equipment - I show you how to pack your tent, sleeping system, cook system, odds and sods, water, beer, whiskey and lots more into your backpack - everything you will need for a 1 or 2 night wild camp, keeping it to 12.5KG - This video was inspired by Paul Mesner whos version of this is much better than mine, it changed totally how I pack my backpack. Hope you enjoy.

    For inflatable mats and pillows I found a great way of reducing pack size. Basically once rolled up, suck excess air via the valve then close it quickly again. You may be surprised how much extra you can squeeze out of it.

      Thanks Chris, much appreciated brother. Some of my kit has changed, not much but will be doing 2 more load out videos shortly, 1 for general and simple overnighter and one for low weight, multi day hikes.

      normal ? - not been called that for a while, thanks. Yep I dont get all the bs people put out there, its just loading and unloading a bag - should be simple.

    How long has this bag lasted you? That's roughly the same weight I carry and my bag is falling apart after about 6 months. Osprey is a brand I'm looking at.

      2 years or there abouts, I went through a few bags before I found this one. As you can see I man handle it, it's bullet proof, highly recommended.
      Thanks for watching

    Cool video, but where is your map? Map cover and food!? And what about water filtration system?!

    • @Daveyboygoeswild
      @Daveyboygoeswild  Рік тому

      All very good points, I use the miniwell water filter and it was tucked into the side pocket and I forgot to take it out. - Food is normally a dehydrated meal that I just throw on top, but good question, and Map, you got me there, although I did have a compass with me.

      Hahaha, great question. Go watch the virtual camp video and go to minute 11.00, you will see. Quite possibly one of the best buys I have done

    Why did`nt you use the sleepingbag compartment enclosure?

    • @Daveyboygoeswild
      @Daveyboygoeswild  2 роки тому +1

      I prefer to keep the whole bag as just one big bag, just the way I like to use it. I have recently purchased the atmos 65 AG and do use the sleeping bag compartment on that one, but for the tent which I put in the bottom, so makes digging it out easier

      @@Daveyboygoeswild Thank you! I have got the Atmos 65 now, and i packed the tent vertically in the middle of the bag from the top of the sleeping bag to the top, and filled in on both sides with smaller stuff.
