"Vegan leather" usually is just another way of saying "plastic." Andar's Aspen case in Blanc (only the Blanc color) is made of cactus leather. I've ordered one, just because I'm curious. Andar advertises their case as "full grain" leather, which I've asked them to clarify. Full grain describes leather made from the full thickness of animal hide, which is what's used in the rest of the Aspen line. I can't see how the term applies to a manufactured material, such as cactus leather. I don't really want a white case, but maybe I can pass off the dirt as "patina." 😆 As an old gunslinger, I have a long history with high quality leather. I've just retired the full grain leather belt that I wore daily for more than three decades (beautiful patina). I can't bring myself to throw it away, because we've had so many adventures together. The cactus leather has gotten a lot of hype, but most writers want to talk about anything _except_ how it is as a finished product. From what I have learned, it's partially biodegradable, with a life expectancy of ten years. Since the case you buy now won't fit the phone you buy ten years from now, that's fine. I want to see what it's like in daily use. I'll probably post some reviews and updates on my own channel.
Can you please make a review on Mujjo leather for 15 PM?
Yep, it’s on the list for sure!
the misaligned buttons are a deal breaker to me =(
Yeah it's gotta be cleaned up a bit.
Same! Such a shame because it literally ticks all the boxes except that for me 😭😭
For $20 it seems like a good deal
Yeah it’s not bad at all
Nice review! Do vegan leather patina over time?
Thank you! Usually vegan leather does not patina.
