I was at the Ipi tombi concert at this monumental edifice in 1975 or 1976. It was an experience of a lifetime. Great Mariam Makeba was one of the artists that graced that occasion. Happy to see it brought back to life in a grand style. King Sunny Ade used tp perform there for the masses to enjoy at the rate of 10 naira as entrance fee later on. Thanks for bringing back these wonderful memories. Festac 77 was another great one. Long live Nigeria.

Hello Tosin well thanks for getting inside the theater. I have been waiting to see it.
I appreciate you and your peers on going around Lagos following up on projects.
But maybe it's me, it will be great to get more stable pictures, it was rather shaky on the inside, the drone aerial shots were ok.
As you have opportunity (I know it takes logistics) kindly cover the place more both inside and outside the premises and anything on date of commencement of operations and activities?
