Who cares? Just a bunch of rich kids who have it far too easy. Let them fry.
Wow the comments shi%&ing on destiny instead of hasan, that was unexpected :D
Clip taken out of context. When he defended Olivia Rodrigo, Hasan said that misusing AAVE is cringe at worst but not something vile. RTBA, a Destiny moderator, even told him but Steven ignored it.
Yeah and the whole section even talks about clipping out of context.
What is the context tho ? In 2022 clip he says it is explotation, in 2021 he has 14 minute clip of him saying it is just cringe / he doesn't care. These are 2 pretty much opposite opinions
@@edgars911 In 2022 (like two days ago or whenever) he has a whole section about it being cringe and for the most part it depends on how it's used and how much certain words have entered general conversation. Ie saying fr fr or a number of other singular words that come from AAVE is one thing, talking in a blackcent when it's disconnected from your normal speech is completely different. Hasan (and nearly every millennial) uses plenty of words that came from AAVE at some point or another, that's how language works and in the entire video that the clip destiny is reacting to he talks about this except Destiny is commentating on one specific part that doesn't contain any of the rest of that conversation.
Surely
@@JimijaymesProductions So pretty different from the take a year ago
Wait but if Rae is coming under fire for using AAVE, and Hasan is simping for her, wouldn't that mean he should be making it no big deal? But he's doing the exact opposite of that so what the hell is Destiny talking about?? Lmaoo
Hes trying to justify raes apology since we all know it was completely ridiculous and unnecessary. By pretending to care he makes it seem like a somewhat logical thing to do. We all know it isnt tho 😂
@@HaloBoy11782 ohh okay I see what you're saying. Yeah personally I think the whole "controversy" is bullshit and she did nothing wrong, no doubt she feels the same, but in her position you might as well apologize to avoid getting cancelled so it makes sense
Yeah destiny is just some angry middle aged men who got kicked off twitch and couldn't even make a contract with youtube lol.
He's justifying Rae's apology which was a knee jerk cowardly move. I'm black and I dont find what she said offensive, moreover I think apologizing was totally spineless. Hasan spewed a bunch of bull shit because he's defending his girl. But the truth is she's part of the problem, not because she used black slang but because she empowered the cancel police by cowering right away and apologizing for it.
@@Abrokensword so you think he supposed to shit on his girl to make you happy LMFAO get off the internet.
What's next? I'm gonna go with non Asians enjoying anime
hey white boy! youre eating too much sushi, that aint christ like, cancelation is coming upon you
The Japanese call them weebs so yeah lol
@@deadboltzz5199 That is not true, A Weaboo is a person that idealizes a made up culture in their heads and wants to forsake their own culture. Japanese have a more accurate word for what you are describing called a Hikkikimori or Neet which essentially means a shut in that only watches anime and does not contribute too society.
Man difference between Japanese and black people, is that cultural recognition is cheered in japan(to a extent ofcourse) and in black culture its totally blocked in a pursuit for racial divide.
Destiny is the king of taking clips that are clearly out of context. Holy
"out of context bruh!" holy COPIUM
@@7620313 how its copium when he is saying basically same thing in both clips. I don't like hazan like next dude but he wasnt wrong here - he said it could be racist if it is said with "blackccent" but other than that he doesn't care. And his whole speach now was pr talk but still said he doesn't care - especially if you are "outside" of the internet.
@@DANSZI_ he literally said it, what are you on about? Or are you not aware it's a thing people talk about?
Language is a mix of past and present t languages and dialects. Language is always evolving Noone owns language
Big facts frfr no kizzy
Hmmmm that's not the point. Black people are not getting offended coz they think they own their language. This is the same as "i see no colour" take. Classic.
That’s what im saying dawg
@@ayushisharma162 then what is the point. Explain it like im 5
They are just trying to create a racial divide, to be pissy and soggy in their own pants
So does this mean that I can get mad at white people in California using the word “Y’all”?
“Y’all” is some southern shit if in
not mistaken.
Rae is actually Philippines
At this point it shows that Destiny is fringe and it shows why he fell off specially with his out of touch streamer response to Amouranth
his response about the Amouranth situation was the only sane response I've seen. everyone else is too quick to make assumptions
If you've kept up with Amouranth drama the last couple of years, you'd be sceptical as well.
what the fuck is aave
Daz what am saying
Aave = African American Vengular Language
@@yomoshik4919 I'm black and I didn't even know that's a thing lol
African American Dialect
@@JDen259 if you grew up in an African American household/neighborhood, there's a chance your vocabulary differes from a typical "white" person
Hmmm I think this guy is the problem. What’s more cringe is this guy is just looking at 40 seconds clips and is putting his opinion over everything else and not putting any attempts to showing it in full content. This guy is a troll trying to leach off of other people and spreading hate in his own ways. Bro need to learn how words can get twisted, and learn to understand that you can forgive people for mistakes. Rae didn’t know, it can actually be that simple. Just like she didn’t know what W.A.P meant when that phrase started going around.
Based
So I grew up in in the suburbs and my cousin grew up in Kensington since he was 7. He has different speech than me and uses different vocab. For me? It’s understandable but my suburban white friends disapproves of how he talks and speaks because he calls his close friends with the slur. My other black friends? They love my cousin and enjoys hanging out with him. Funny that a model minority grew up in an environment that was majority black, and is frowned upon by whites rather than the black community themselves… just an interesting observation I’ve been having forever
I have a theory, it might sound insane, it might even be a little crazy, but I think this guy has a thing for hating on ypipo
Ratioed to hell on this video. We don't even need to see the dislikes to know LMFAO
I mean he has exactly the same position now as he did then
Shiet
How does anyone actually watch someone like Destiny? It's insane.
You misspelled Hasanabi
I'm gonna ask that as well about Hasan
Anything is better than Hasan's wishy-washy, flip-flopping, PC takes
whos he dating?
Valkyrae both together alot these days from shit con..val big screen ad in NY.. Twitchcon many their fans says they live in Airbnb together no to mention Hasan and her play many games togheter online stream also offline.
@@syaifurrahman8871 okay now i see why hasan just randomly grinding on valorant recently
Destiny is dating nazis, that's another rumor I heard. That's why he says n word in private
Destiny wrote a 17 page manifesto on why he could say the n slur. He’s banned off twitch and twitter. Why do people listen to him.
Because he is ontologically BASED
Because he’s the most based African Cuban immigrant the world has ever seen.
Guano behavior
Its clear to me that you know absolutely none of the details of any of those three things, not even worth discussing cuz nothing I say will convince u
Because people are greater than one single action or belief that you disagree with. I may not agree with his stance on the n word, but it'd be insane for me to dismiss every opinion he has ever held because of one opinion I may not share with him. If I held everyone to that same standard, I wouldn't value anyone else's opinion on anything, because everyone will have opinions I eventually disagree with.
Has to stick up for gf hasan is a simp
oh woah! ppl can change their minds from their past selves because they can grow and understand things more
actually wait, might be a crazy concept for destiny viewers since they think they are right all the time
he also was not talking about hillbilly ppl using aave but people who profit off of using those terms like influencers.
Lol. peopl definitely can grow and change their mind. When you do it, acknowledge your past selves first and then state the reason of why you change your mind. Hasan just change his mind when it is convenient for him. Did he recognized or even remembered that he say something completely contradictory to what he say now?
I mean that's fine, but then there's hasan that constantly contradicts himself and changes his morals depending on when it benefits him
Gusano
Hasan>Destiny
Opinions can change. I look forward to destiny dismantling Hasan's perspective. But this one seemed like a reach
idk seems like it wwas taken out of context but you do you lil bro
Wow out of context title and clip. Destiny is the biggest hypocrite 🙄
