Eline Powell was perfect for Ryn because her features are so unique and beautiful, but yet they give off that enchanting and otherworldly type vibe. Especially, when she has to act like a different species and that's what I think brings her character all together.

Does someone know why was Ryn able to "transform" when maddie was showing her dad that Ryn was a mermaid but not when she fell into the pool? I know she can´t transform if she isn´t in ocean water but the one Maddie used wasn´t from the ocean, it was from the fishes tank
could be because in the fish tank it might be salty water so she might be able to and then the other fresh water so she didnt

This is explained right after this scene 😊 Maddie asks her why she didn't transform. And Ryn answer "not my water" or something like that. She needs ocean water to transform

Yeah it because it has chlorine in it along with other chemicals that go in a pool
