About SIREN:
“Siren” takes us inside Bristol Cove-a coastal town known for its legend of once being home to mermaids. When the arrival of a mysterious girl proves this folklore all too true, the battle between man and sea takes a very vicious turn as these predatory beings return to reclaim their right to the ocean. The series stars Alex Roe (“The 5th Wave”) as Ben, a bright marine biologist who finds himself drawn to a mysterious new girl in town, Ryn, played by Eline Powell (“Game of Thrones”), who is a strange young woman with a deep dark secret. Fola Evans-Akingbola (“An American Exorcism”) stars as Maddie, also a marine biologist who works with Ben, and is highly suspicious of Ryn. Ian Verdun (“Life’s a Drag”) stars as Xander, a deep sea fisherman on a quest to uncover the truth; and Rena Owen (“Star Wars” Episodes II and III) as Helen, the town eccentric who seems to know more about the mermaids than she lets on. Based on a story by Eric Wald and Dean White who both serve as executive produces. Emily Whitesell (“Finding Carter”) is on board as Showrunner and Executive Producer. Brad Luff, Nate Hopper and RD Robb are also attached as executive producers.

@@MM-ws2cb It's been canceled. The props, and clothing have either been sold off, sent to other shows to be used. Besides, the actress who plays Ryn has a daughter now. She's not gonna come back unless the hours would be super flexible. The actor who play Xander even said that the show was done for.

@@wolfshield2499 bro u know mermaids are real right lmao, my great great -great? grandfather seen one washed up along the shore with a sharp pin stuck in her head she was in pain and he helped her get the pin out of her head by pulling it out, back then they would go to the shore or ocean to wash there clothes, and after he helped the mermaid he let her go, then there family became really rich with rice and all types of food, this was in norther iraq called shie-mal. its like they were blessed with riches, rice and that type of stuff back then meant alot. and to this day my family the one that helped the mermaid are still rich and super wealthy now, were catholic christians and speak aramaic, were called chaldeans. this story was passed down to my family from my great grandfathers family all the way to mine, im passing this story down to my kids also. and nobody can really say mermaids arent real, 95% of the ocean is not discovered!! only 5% is, sorry i typed too much, just wanted to tell u this

I think merbabies go through less painful transformation. Their bones are pretty much soft and malleable at that stage.

This is such a cute moment. I mean I get the tension, but the pay off is so cute. Also with Ben and Maddy, I hope they figure things out. I love the trio and how they support and understand each other even when they have a disageement
Ryn's daughter name is Hope, because one of the babies's mother posted the Official name on her social media. I think that Helen suggested the name on the trailer!
No what Hellen said on the trailer is this child is your people's hope. Meaning the will you used the child to bring the tribes from far to come and unit the tribes to bring Tai down that what's she meant by the the trailer

Such a beautiful scene! Birth is always a beautiful thing. this show gives me all the mermaid vibes i needed since i was a child. i would spend a lot of beach time as a kid looking out to see if i saw one. a boy can dream. Ryn's smile is everything and then them both splashing at the surface to let ben and maddie know they are ok ... drop dead adorable!!!

I love how realistic the Mermaids are and I hate that this show is over. Doesn’t anyone know when a show has a fanbase not to quit after 3 season. 😤😭
So beautiful... I'm so impress with the writers and creators in this show, they combine myth and science and it's very realistic.. even on how Ryn had her baby.. a lot though the baby's father would be Ben.. so happy this show is not a typical mermaid and human love story. Plus this show encourage us to protect and clean our ocean👍👍👍

you can tell ryns getting weaker the longer she stays on land because in the first episode ryn in the water knew how to fight very strongly and she was deadly but when tia fought her ryn could bearley get a good scratch or bite she needs to spend more time in the ocean again with her baby
Tia spent 10 years on a Russian military base being experimented on, taught to read, write, and most important COMBAT. Tia said they wanted to use her as a weapon. Tia was going to win that fight regardless due to training alone. No one trained ryn besides what she knew coming out the water. Tia is something NONE of the sirens have encountered. She brought a HARPOON spear to fight her tribe leader. The woman didn't even understand what happened. Tia didn't even have to move or get closer. Ryns not weak in a fight. She needs to level the playing field
also ryn needs to hide her baby from the military because they might try to use the baby as a test subject

Babies are incredibly resilient. Like almost unbelievably so. Their bones are also softer. Probably helps
i think the 'unnatural' way the baby was conceived and born plays a part here, personally i think the baby will have an easier time transforming
