Well, yeah, from a logical view it would be better to throw the match but from a narrative stand point it wouldn't flow well considering the glaring skill gap and nonexistent time to work on this deficit.
Seirin now needs to use the downtime to REALLY level up.
Now back to Aomine, this is why I said he must have been SUPER under the weather when he "only" scored 82 points against an unnamed team,I mean, look at this blow out!

They are all highschoolers, and not everyone wants to become professional athletes then. Basketball is just club activities, and they felt so bored being so good that no one can compete.
I think most of the GoM won't go pro then. For examples Akashi will become a politician and Midorima will run a company for sure. They can continue playing in colleges and all, but not after that.

It was pretty good... it could have been a better story and the animation was kind of hard to get used to but the fight scenes were surprisingly good 😊 The tournament arc was really really good, definitely something I’ll watch again in the future
