"Rest now, Veteran Kings." and on that note, can we talk about how every single generation of miracle player has these batshit-crazy one-liners? These Highschool kids out here making Dante from devil may cry blush.
It comes down to if Akashi could actually react to Zone Aomine. *Spoiler Alert for Future Episodes and the Movie* I genuinely think that even with Akashi's zone, and the power up his Emperor eye gets in the movie, that it'd still be a super intense, hard fought match at least. Aomine's whole thing is his speed, agility, and reaction time. Things that Akashi has said he tops all of them in, even without the Zone. That's not even getting into all the batshit ways I can imagine him scoring. So yeah, my money's on a hard faught battle with Someone just squeaking by.
@@colt1903 yeah I agree, it definitely should be an intense and interesting fight. I'm a hardcore Akashi fan but I do realize Aomine is a rough opponent.
@@alexleonard2348 Aomine is better than kagami at 1v1 but akashi is almost as good as quasi emperor eye kuroko+ zone kagami ALONE. Aomine by himself would stand no chance. The only one who would beat akashi in a short match would be zone+perfect copy kise but not in a longer match obviously (excluding jabberwock members).
@@colt1903for awhile, this is the one debate i never had a clear definitive answer for, but recently i came up with something interesting: (there's no spoilers here) if aomine is on offense, it's 50-50 whether or not he'd be able to score against akashi. there's a chance akashi stops him with emperor eye, but there's just as much chance of aomine getting past akashi with his agility and unorthodox scoring methods. but if akashi's on offense, there's no scenario i can imagine where aomine's defense would do anything against akashi's ankle breaks this isn't even accounting everything akashi does in terms of strategy, tactics, etc. as well as the other stuff later on that i won't mention for spoiler reasons with all that in mind, i have to give it to akashi. the problem with akashi is that the emperor eye is more or less a hard counter for every single ability in the series
Akashi was epic but we can't forget that Midorima + Takao combo. One of my favorite moments, the music, the set up, the chills when that ball landed in his hands and he got it perfectly.
I was like "wait for it...Wait for it!!" While you were wondering what the heck Midorima was going to do. Your reaction to it was great, made me super giddy! The aerial 3 pointers is still one of my favorites moves because of how clean it looks, it's beautiful! Glad Akashi earned your respect, I wonder if you guys like his one liners as much as Aomine's haha xD They are so iconic :) Now onto the rematch between Kaijo and Seirin which will be nuuuuts!
Aomine is great and flashy and cool playing that makes you pp go hard i know cause i am one of them, judt cause he got a fun style and you like hom doesnt mean he can beat akashi, akashi is absolute, not to mention the movie power up. Predicting the future no matter what flashy thong you do, he can still see it.
Now that we're getting to the truly amazing parts of the series and nearing the end I wish you guys would pump these out faster! Its agonizing having to wait for your reactions! Keep up the great work guys!!!
SPOILER: Most Potential: Kise Best 1v1: Aomine (?) Best Overall Player: Akashi That's at least how I would rank it. And 1v1 I dont necessarily think Aomine would beat Akashi by much if at all. But out of the other Generations, no one else would be be able to match the 2 of them. Aomine's speed plus unorthodox way of playing is the only one to possibly outplay the emperor's eye but the reverse also can be said so its hard to say who will actually win. Of course, Aomine hasn't practiced in ages so we have to take that into account. But at the end, against Kagami's zone, we saw that Akashi's zone is far more dominant and superior. Kagami didn't even stand a chance even though he was able to go toe to toe with Aomine zone. So I think Akashi is still stronger when it comes to 1v1 just because the Emperor's Eye gives him too big of an advantage that even with Aomine's speed and playstyle, it would be hard. Plus at the end of the movie, he finally returned to one personality so his emperor's eye is even stronger than before. But it won't be easy for either player of course. Definitely the top 2 strongest of the squad. Murasakibara has a lot of potential too since all this time he's been bored playing basketball but in the last movie, we finally see him enjoy the game and actually go all out (though he didn't go into the zone). He's always held back knowing with his build, he can accidently crush his opponents. But after the series and the movie, I hope he puts his all into the game and if he does, he will definitely be a lot stronger. Unfortunately, my personal 2nd favorite gom, Midorima doesn't have as much going for him. A great player but compared to the rest of the squad, he can't keep up. His potential isn't as great and in 1v1, he might be better than the average player but no match against the GOMs. As long as they are in his face, he won't be able to do his shots. Kise has great potential but his leg injury and the pressure that perfect copy puts on him isn't suited for long games. Maybe in a short match or a 1v1, he can match Aomine and Akashi but only within that 1 minute he's able to use perfect copy + zone.

"nemure, rekizen no ou yo" like dang kuroko has the best quotes in anime next to gintama
Everything in this game basically just showed why Akashi was the captain of the GoM, and I love it.
His next match shows why GoM got so skilled.
Akashi vs Aomine is what EVERYONE would love to see lol

Akashi just completely DOMINATES the court
Akashi be like aizen with that kyouka suigetsu 😂😂
Now you see why the captain is absolute, even Haizaki was scared. Btw Aoimine would lose lol There's a reason Akashi is the Captain of the GOM

Hey guys, if you open to suggestion. I would like to recommend you the best basketball anime/manga. Called Slam Dunk by Takehiko Inoue.
By the end of the show u guys need to decide who’s the strongest: Aomine, akashi, or kise
Imo: Aomine

Most Potential: Kise
Best 1v1: Aomine (?)
Best Overall Player: Akashi

Aomine Better Than Akashi
Ratio
Aomine still the strongest
1.Aomine
2.Akashi
3.Kise
Lol no
yes I agree. But they are all similarly strong.
