    I'm saying this as an artist myself... there's nothing wrong with using AI to write the text or make the pictures in a children's book. All that matters is the value that art and text brings to the person on the other end buying it. It doesn't matter if it was created by a human or a machine.

      With credits to the products that did the work of course. As with any human collaborators, they (AI) should get due credit. This may save some of humanity down the line when Skynet decides we suck. Oh yeah I forgot, screw the real artists that are getting their work scraped, blended and shat out by a algorithm. It's fun to be an artist and make your own books!

      Those who create books or images using AI should not call themselves artists, an artist can do the same or better than AI, these AI artists are totally dependent of AI to be "artists"

      Artist too do these art work and with the help of Ai now, they have become more efficient tho.
      If one does not have an artistic disposition, its difficult to put even colors, text types and sizes or even pictures together.
      When with Ai, there is still some reasonable human intervention to smoothen it and make it professional. All effort and even being courageous to learn and use tools is valid. Credit to all humans plus Ai creating value by any means❤🎉

    • @marcus_ohreallyus
      @marcus_ohreallyus Рік тому +1

      @@danielmonteyro it doesn't matter if someone can call themselves an artist or not. They're still making art, because like I said... the end result is art and someone can connect with it emotionally without knowing if a machine or human created it. Not saying it's fair. It just is. So there's no use complaining about it or denigrating it now. The toothpaste is out of the tube.

    I am not sure if I missed something here. But I believe, if you are going to download from Canvas like shown, your DPI resolution might not be high enough. And the printing might be too pixelated. When opening the Template in Photoshop, you can see they are using 600 dpi. That means a much larger pixel resolution than the images you downloaded from MJ and then uploaded directly to Canva. Unless, I really missed something substantial here. Thanks for your lovely video, appreciate it!

    There is a huge problem with a lack of consistency in MidJourney prompts. Everyone is making videos like it's so easy. I've been prompting for hours on MidJourney and am struggling lol. I think using ChatGPT and Midjourney/other image AI are great as a brainstorming tool and references, but shouldn't be anywhere near the final result - both for quality and copyright purposes. As an artist I was really excited by Midjourney at first because I thought it would be a much faster way of getting references that I needed. Instead of searching on google forever for that one pose at just the right angle, I could just generate it. Unfortunately, the image generating AI were not made for artists. Maybe the masters of the prompts have better luck, but I can't get it to generate anything very specific that is in any way accurate.
    The same goes for language models. They might generate you a story, but it isn't a good one. Then you also have the problem of the things you create not actually belonging to you by copyright law. The story and images you made with these AI can technically be used by anybody else, or might even belong to the creators of the AI. Midjourney even charges for you to use anything you generate commercially, which is a racket since they never paid the artists whose work they used to train their AI a cent.

    • @MrMichaelsen
      @MrMichaelsen Рік тому +9

      many of the final results can be used in books or tshirts for sure as they r are better than many artists, lets face the truth

    • @luisbernal7689
      @luisbernal7689 Рік тому +10

      Did you pay any artist that influenced you?

    • @Artemez
      @Artemez Рік тому +2

      @Luis Bernal No, (although I have paid for art lessons - so sort of) and while that is a good point - as a human I am able to determine if my style looks too similar to another artist, especially if dealing with the same subject matter. With AI you can literally put an artist's name into the prompt to generate an image in their exact style - sometimes even with the AI attempting to recreate their signature. Copying an artist's style may not be illegal, but it's not ethical or professional. There have also been cases where the AI generates an image that is nearly identical to an image from its training dataset, which would actually be a copyright violation.

    In-Game Character Death

    died in game
    "Died in game" is a phrase that refers to a player character's death in a video game or online game. In most games, dying means that the player character loses all of their progress and items accumulated up to that point, and must start again from a checkpoint or the beginning of the level. This can be frustrating for players, but it is also a common and expected part of the gaming experience. Many games allow players to respawn or continue after death, and some even have a "permadeath" mode where the game ends permanently if the player character dies.
