Great idea - do you need a hobby? Also, we would need materials......Seriously it would be wonderful to not have cars out in the weather all the time - including over the winter work on projects and the ability to display more artifacts.. Currently we have four full-length stalls in the stone roundhouse and one 1/2 length. Service pits are ready in Stalls 7 & 8. . Also materials for a new trestle over Tarryall Creek would be terrific. There is a potential that we could get more rail donated...... ;-)
Thanks for the visual journey. This place looks very interesting. Especially if you enjoy early RR history of the American West. Next time I find myself in CO, I will be sure to check this out. 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃
Glad to see some new DSPPHs input. Also waiting to see any/ all Gunnison Convention pic's!
Good Photography and good editing! Great work!
Amazing progress! Has the idea of rebuilding some of the wooden stalls some time in the future been floated?

Have you ever estimated what it would cost to rebuild the wooden stalls of the roundhouse?
In terms of materials or manpower?
Can we drive up and get a tour?
We are there most Saturdays -have a work day on 8/6 Boreas Pass Railroad Day is 920.
