Do we need the scrapped Amtrak locomotives from Beech Grove Shops to remember? 40th Anniversaries are 156, 66, and 822, but not 184 is scrapped beyond repair, only repainted into Phase V.
Fantastic job Mike, What an Amazing Day To hear some Steam Locos chugging down the line, the bell, and the tooting whistles at the C&T, thank you so much for posting your video! You made this all possible, Thanks for sharing with you! 💨💨🚂🚂👍🏻👍🏻

The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad is pretty amazing. They some amazing steam locomotives in operation here so far as we all know. I hope my trip at the Strasburg Railroad over by next month September will go out well to be honest.
Hello Mike, a fantastic video of the Cumbres and Toltec narrow gauge railway. I am a big fan of these railways and the steam locomotives of the former Rio Grande narrow gauge railway. Thanks for the great video and best regards from Germany
My favorite shots: 1:03 2:10 3:36 5:09 7:17 I love the red passenger cars contrasting against the deep black of the locomotive and the blue sky. Thank you for sharing.
My son and I love your videos! It’s became our thing to sit in the recliner together and watch some trains. Thanks so much for creating this experience for us. Your channel is a big part of our lives. Keep up the good work my man!
Interesting that this video was posted the day 487 was fired up for the first time in almost 2 years. As I'm writing this, it made it's first revenue run post overhaul!
I Mike just letting you know that you are doing a good and excellent job 👍 so keep it up and continue giving us these awesome train videos okay. Let's go trains of all kinds. But especially the ones on the bullet train, big boy, Amtrak, how about reasch on the contrail trains the coobes, and the Santa Fe too? Are they coming back running on the rails or sadly gone for good? Just let me know and keep track of them too okay. Sincerely Christopher wright let's go Conrail trains let's go go Conrail trains and the coobes and also the Santa Fe too
Next week’s video will be Freight Trains Galore 2. I’m not sure when I’ll be back in Texas, but I really hope I get a chance soon. Wanted to do it this summer but it didn’t work out with the timing of everything.
Great footage but not included were the mountanous territory and the two Tunnels, l suppose because the photographers couldnt get there. I rode the train im June. There are many loops and horseshoe curves to gain elevation. This is certainly an Americsn treasure. Don't take it for granted. Get out there. You dont have to be a railfan to enjoy the trip.
I still can’t get enough of those drive wheels on 489. They look so unusual.
It’s definitely an unusual design! Those outside frame narrow gauge locomotives have really big counterweights that look quite unique.
That's why they're mounted outside the frame.

Nice Steam Trains!
Amazing catches! Maybe you should come railfan Durango again sometime.
Thank you! I’m sure I will!
Nice video
Thank you!
Nice video. I think you're pretty lucky to get shots of regular trains having boxcars and a tank car. Well done.
6:00 Wow! The Arizona landscape looks a lot like the Grand Canyon steam train.
Believe it or not, that’s actually southern Colorado! It does look a lot like northern Arizona though.
It looks similar, except it was not filmed in Arizona.
I love these vids! Been watching em since i was 5
Beautiful video mike! Made my day!
That train noise is music to my ears
Ne muhteşem bir güzellik. Ne harika vagonlar muhteşem bir lokomotif. Özellikle de si. En güzel hint müzikten bile harika.

I’m pretty sure this was recorded during the Victorian Ironhorse round up?
Hey Mike, Did u hear that 487 is getting Converted to Oil?
Were the 487, and 489 Steam Locomotives originally built to pull Freight Trains?
Great footage but not included were the mountanous territory and the two Tunnels, l suppose because the photographers couldnt get there. I rode the train im June. I miss 489's atsf whistle
489 has a hooter whistle now?
This was from a couple years ago. I think it has the 6 chime ATSF whistle again but not sure.
