I ran this press for a number of years. Company went out of business and I see the press for sale. Really enjoyed running it.

tta1387 I used to run a Heidelberg Harris M-3000 that was very similar but much wider web, second level for units 1-4 so no air turn, and a pinless folder so we ran much much faster than what I see here. I also loved running it but hated doing PM on the units because the rollers were huge and an unbelievable headache to change. And with a spiral ink meter instead of a ductor, at high speeds it spit and misted ink everywhere. Built up under the guards and coated everything surrounding the roller train. Don't miss one second of that. I recommend getting into flexographic printing. Its far easier, lower stress, pays just as well if not better in many cases, and it isn't going away as quickly as offset is. Web offset printing is becoming less viable for print buyers as flexo quality gets better and better for far less cost and digital printing is now mainstream.

​@@imvandenh I spent 12 years operating a Cameron Letterflex Belt Press. Wonder if any are still being used today. In their infancy they were considered quite revolutionary but have since been replaced by narrow web offset presses. Before operating the Cameron Press I worked on a Harris Cottrell M-1000 4 color.

Ran one of these, 630mm cutoff and a JF50 folder with a vitz rotocut sheeter!.
Now running a duplex M600D / JF70 folder.with full auto RGS, RCS, and CCS.10 years old and can still get it upto 70000 in qto fold!.

That press is darn near spotless.

That press is just idling at 26950/hr.
If I remember correctly it will run 50-55k/hr. (I ran M-300’s and M-600’s for over 25yrs. )
