I understand what youre going through. ive been struggling this week too. I think part of it is coming off the holiday. Im finding myself grazing on leftovers, craving apple pie, turkey, and lasagna!! I get so stressed out,and its true, being alone makes it really tough. Today, all I feel like doing,is sampling everything in the fridge thats leftover and Im feeling so guilty. I feel so upset. thank you for sharing your day. Helps me feel better seeing you! Love,Loren🥰

@@BecomingSunshine Thank you Alyse for your kind advice. Its so frustrating when i feel like that. I beat myself up so much,it makes me want to just forget about it in the first place. The three hours of guilt that follows five minutes after eating a certain food, just isnt worth all that!! Drives me crazy!😮‍💨

I know it’s hard . Recovery can be so exhausting. And you can get to a point where your exhausted with recovery and you have pushed to your limit on what you can cope with right now. It’s getting the balance right . Pushing yourself , changing yourself however also knowing when the limit has been reached for the week or day . It’s taking that time out to reflect on recovery and self care and give yourself some time out to just be. Yes, changing your scenery , going for a walk , colouring in or doing something your enjoy is good for lifting mood. Thanks for sharing.

You are such a beautiful and honest inspiration to all going through recovery. I wish for myself that I had been able to do it but I never could. Now after 40+ years it’s taken everything and given nothing back.
Just keep on going and have the life that you deserve.
    ❤️❤️🌸🌸

@@BecomingSunshine I’m not in recovery and never have been and never will be. I haven’t the strength after battling for so many years. I just don’t want to see a gorgeous person like yourself live the life I have lived. I advocate for the young ones so that they can see what they miss out on if they don’t continue through their recovery. You’re strong and have everything going for you and I wish you nothing but success and happiness as you gradually get your life back. I also live in Australia (down Sth) so it’s great to see someone here doing the videos you do. With love and thoughts coming your way 💕💕❤️❤️

One day in the future it won't be hard and we will eat without a second thought, anxiety, and guilt. We can do this 💪💪
And thank you Alyce for showing us and trusting us with your vulnerabilities ♥ You're incredible and you're also giving hope to many of us who are struggling.

you are my biggest inspiration in this journey.. may I ask you how you deal with movement compulsion in recovery? I'm struggling a lot with exercise addiction and I know I have to cold turkey. How you deal with this? thank you

      Thank you ❤
It’s something I really struggle with too as I also have ADHD so I’ve worked with my team to have low movement in my day which seems to help. Best advice is to see an experienced exercise physiologist that’s what really helped me too.
