It looks to me the body sits to low causing the binding issue you talked about. I would raise the body off the frame about 5mm with some spacers and longer hardware.
I can’t wait to see how you get the two speed working with that stock electronics. I didn’t think it was possible because i dont see another button on the remote. I would love to add a winch to mine but i think that the ramps for the trailer run with the winch channel
Im wondering...how do you switch gears with the two speed gear box? Does it require a different transmitter and electronics? I have ordered one for myself after watching your video. Im excited to experience this new model!
I was waiting for a test without the trailer to see the performance of the 280 with six wd. Given the six wheel drive system, the B-36 RTR should have soft rubbers and a motor with less speed and higher torque. Also the front suspension needs to be softer to be more perfect. The rear box of the original B-36 may be offered with the new motor and transmission. With some weight and change in C.G the suspension and crawling will be more realistic with the 280 motor. Thanks for a nice video.

If I understood correctly, the bottom button works as a gearshift/dragbrake switch. I am not 100% sure though so we Will see :)
I have been hauling a small henglong battle tank model with it .but truck could use more power when haul out doors..But I like it

Just plug it in the receiver and switch gears with the bottom button on the transmitter 👍🏼
