The thorny subject of PPL and PRS licencing is still a barrier to getting started. Our wee group who were keen on converting our podcast hobby into internet radio simply can't get a grip on costs and how it all works. It clearly can be done given that there are stations out there operating, however getting info is like finding hens teeth.
So will I have to send separately the mobile and the desktop link? Or specify in my promotional materials?

You did this video a month ago, however, I"m not finding the software to download. When I click that download link it says page isn't available anymore. I am on windows 11 a desktop. Thanks for the video. is there any other software besides this one. Or does it matter.....

You'll need to go through a licensing company in order to get the rights
Still expensive as hell tbh.
Servers and maintenance is also pretty pricey to be honest. But we've tried our best to keep costs as low as possible. In saying that, maybe we can help lower yours at studio@radio.co.

HELP HELP HELP - I have the songs but No licenses. I'm looking for a totally free way to broadcast them.
This looks great but it cost money which sucks. Shoutcast use to do the same but now they charge which is ridiculous.
I can start a station. But how do you make money from it!??
