This video put a smile back onto my face! Being in the USA and a $500 Reservation Holder of a Volvo EX30 has been trying... at Best! After many of us owning our reservations for a YEAR. We've yet to hear as must as a word from Volvo about our Configurations or Orders! Today's Automobile Press is advertising this Kia at the $30,000 to $50,000 Price Range. MotorOne's headline reads, "Kia's $30,000 Electric SUV Is Coming to the US." To expedite EV adoption here in the US, this is precisely the kind of EVs we need. In the last few days, all I've heard about Volvo was postponed/ineffective SW Updates, that their CEO left, and talk of 100% Tariffs. I have already contacted Kia to tell them I'm interested in this car! Thank You!

No new EV gonna be 30k and we all know that. No company will drop a new EV that looks good for 30k. Let’s be for real. That would dump there sales in all there other models and all other car companys would lose. Same with Tesla dropping a 30k model. If they do there sales on all others models will drop over 60%. So if they do drop a 30k car it will be worse then all there car models they have now other ways they will lose sales on all other cars.

@@andreasl4507 I sold cars for several years, and I understand your thinking. But frankly, if the profit margins are there on any given model, I know that Kia, Volvo, Tesla, and, for that matter, any modern car brand only cares about the numbers sold. You assume that the public is only concerned with price, and if that were the case, Cybertrucks wouldn't be flying out of Tesla's doors and we all would be driving 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage ESs at $18,160.00. Also, remember that the Chinese Brands and Tesla's proposed $25,000 Model 2 finally has woken up everyone in the biz! I see this as a smart proactive move by Kia!

Curious how they decide whether to go FWD or RWD. Presume they prioritised trunk space?

Also, high powerr EV motors can create torque-steer havoc with front wheel drive.

Front wheel drive is the worst for all EVs. Terrible cars. They just tryna keep building the car cheap. Kia always been for cheap losers.
