    Very informative Jason. I hadn't thought of building a resin kit before but this review of the Atlantic Models kit has got me thinking. Thank you.

    they made a film of it: Yangtse Incident: The Story of H.M.S. Amethyst, starring Richard Todd(the dam busters) & William Hartnell(dr who, Carry on Sergeant) and HMS Magpie was used for the shots of the ship (with Amethyst in reserve), nice review

    Her slightly older sister, Cavalier (in a modified state) is préserved at Chatham Dockyard.

    Excellent review. I was thinking seriously of a resin/multi media kit and looking at the Atlantic Models HMS Amethyst. I chanced upon this review and it made my mind up. Just contacted Peter and he has put it on back order for me. Look forward to making this when it arrives. Assume you have not started the Consort yet, as I haven’t seen a video?

      As an aside, may I ask where you do your airbrushing? Do you have one of those small portable type booths and if so any recommendations? I work at a second desk in my home office and spray outside in the summer but was really thinking I need something inside for the winter particularly as I have just started with enamels. Many thanks.
