The last buffs are nice (especially the dmg buff on both Skill 1), but i really hope they gave her some form of regen, preferably on her dual sword's passive proc to make it more useful. As of now, she's pretty much just a hit-and-run hero because she can't sustain herself after a dmg trade. Maybe it's just me, but i find Domination Li Xin to be a much better version of Mulan. While he's not as mobile as her, his ult is just much more consistent and easy to use than Mulan's Heavy Skill 1 for a CC immune, charge nuke. Meanwhile, Li Xin can deal dmg safely + sustaining himself through Skill 2, something that Mulan could never do

What i mean is, even if you managed to execute her gameplay well enough, it's just to the point that you won't die when doing 1v1 with other CL. It's not like you'll completely dominate your lane and become a menace in teamfights like those Guan Yu experts. So at that point, why not just use much easier to use yet more rewarding CL like Li Xin, Biron, or Dun that filled the same role as Mulan as low CD fighters ? This is honestly the same issue with Li Bai; he's just too hard to execute yet not as rewarding compared to other junglers
@@youagain8447 i can see where you're coming from but definitely Mulan can do a few stuff differently from those you mentioned, first of all she's really versatile, That's something I really like about her, second if you manage to somehow cc chain somebody into your team usinf 2nd skill from heavy sword, they're as good as dead if they don't have cc resistance or immunity. And she has better mobility. I would say she's kind of conditional, but if you're really good with her and spacing, then you can do well with her.

My suggestion? Let players be able to cast her 2nd skill (Base Form) anywhere they want instead of just a straight line. That way players can utilize the damage more than the one we have right now. Have the skill indicator be a circle instead of a straight line. For her Ult? Just scrap it and come up with something that isn't stressful to control.
Agreed about Mulan's jankiness and her needing a rework, although hopefully without scrapping her form change mechanic. I kinda get what's the angle with Mulan; she's supposed to be a zero downtime fighter that could fight anytime because of her skills' low CD. Unfortunately, Biron exists in this game and he does a much better job than her purely because of 1 reason; he could sustain himself. With Mulan, even if you manage to kill 1 enemy's hero, more often than not you'll be low in HP and forced to Recall, defeating the entire purpose of her supposed trait as "zero downtime fighter". My suggestion is gave her some heal on her passive's proc similar to Diao Chan's. That way, she'll be able to sustain herself while also giving her dual blade form some actual uses outside of just for mobility or dmg poke (that passive is REALLY useless)
For me in my own view point is that I like her 2nd skill in her heavy sword form, just need to atleast have a cancel to it. Then her first skill should be a dash then slash. 🤔 The charge attack is still insanely tough to use and I don't usually use it.
She was a jungler when the map is much smaller and jungle creeps position being favourable to mulan's range in the original server, but that was years ago.
Ive only played 5 games of her post buff, but already ive had multiple situations where the extra damage resistance has come in way too clutch. At the very least the buffs are noticeable
If Hok had spell vamp items like mlbb Then Mulan & other assassin/fighter Clash laners too didn't need to depend on tanky build. We might have assassin meta too instead of tank meta. Mulan is lacking in sustainability during team fights coz of base health Nerf. If her defensive attributes growth could be higher she will be useful in late games too.
The real issue is, Mulan has one of the highest skill caps in the game. Most characters have one combo they can rely on, whereas Mulan has many variations of how she can treat a situation. The one thing I will agree with others on, is she needs more sustain. She plays more like an assassin rather than a fighter right now. But if you’re good with her you can seriously dominate games, and her team nuke capability is some of the highest in the game (charge 1-flash-1 combo) - but again she needs some form of sustain maybe a regen effect when she procs passive so she can do extended fights. The buffs are definitely useful but it’s not damage she is lacking.

You can go a semi tank build that still does lots of damage and survives a lot of hits. The problem is after a few kills you are going to get killed for sure. In team fight its just you trying to hit that 2 to incapacitate the enemy but 9 out if 10 you will be already dead.
Is there any physical damage spellvamp item in HOK, I like her skill set but she lacks sustainability. I only see physical lifesteal and magic spellvamp😅
I can feel her buff. It's great but not very noteable. Her extra damage is nice and she can sustain alot now in war, but other than that is just mediocre. Now you would usually just push turret since her wave clearing is naturaly good. Compared to Yena (Mulan Aov Counterpart), Yena is way stronger and better. I really don't know what it is but she's just better than Mulan. I hope they can give something to her in the future. 😊

Laning as her feel terrible, she spike hard at lv4 and early mid game but falls off late game. Her great sword DMG buff is nice for waveclear and the DMG res buff is meh.
one thing i hate about mulan(and HoK in general) is her inability to sustain. there is no life-steal efek on skills. only magic and basic attack. mulan will be fearsome laner like lapu-lapu from mobile legends if HoK decide to put lifesteal items for skill damage.
There's still something missing, a shield or regen. otherwise she seems to be a hero for clearing lanes and the occasional fight

Her jankiness can be compensated with proper execution of her skills. If anything her zero health regeneration is holding her back.

they should change the color for dual and single blade form. The color is too similar, and hard too notice in some condition
