Easily the most underrated president in US history.
Coolidge was great and the times he lived in were most innovative and interesting.
Coolidge and Cleveland were the most libertarian minded presidents we ever had
I was going to say I’d take Cleveland
>enter office
>the economy crashes
>do literally nothing
>the economy booms
>leave after a single term
we need more Coolidge.
he should've stayed in office
The economy crashed after he left office due in part that the next administration didn't keep Coolidge's policies.
@@kidflersh7807He didn't run for another term because his son had died. He was still reeling from that. Unfortunately, I can very much relate.
@@oldblackstock2499The great depression game precisely because of the systemic crisis of overproduction and pervasive speculation that was the inevitable byproduct of Coolidge's laissez-faire policies. Exactly what happened during the long depression of the gilded age, right before the progressive era and an ounce of commonsense developed in the mind of the American lublic, at least for two decades, before the follies of the roaring '20s
glad my ancestor set a good example
Great Grandfather ? Coolidge was a remarkable president most don't know about. I've read his biography and autobiography.
Good stuff, Steve! I like your passion for the past.
On a personal note my own temperament is a lot like his. Am a quiet guy and generally do not like imposing heavy top down control on others and certainly not on an entire darn country.
Well, as Mark Twain said, everybody complains about the weather. But nobody Does anything about it. Calvin. I'm going to come and say that oh you couldn't.
Best president in History
Coolege was cool!!
Is this gentleman the Forbes?
Yes.
