This is very nice. It must have been very expensive when it came out. It is also awesome that it is in working condition. I have never seen this mechanism anywhere else. Do you think you can open it so we can see the mechanism? Also, I once got a JVC HR-S10U portable top loader VCR from 1986, of course it was not working, and it didn't have the same mechanism. I really wish I could see the bottom side of the mechanism but there was a circuit board.
Interesting VCR! This unit has got to be one of the last (if not the last) top-loading VCRs ever made.

This is so cool! I have a Hitachi thats a slightly older model but it's not a 4 head. I have a video on my channel. This is a real gem!
