The basic disco beat drums giving a stable pulse, combined with a lack of sounds to fill the gaps. No pulsating bass between the beats, the bass is the melody. The plucked strings sets the scene. And nothing ruins it. It's basically the magic of 90s dance music, without the singing. Love it!
