Wife: have you seen my mixer?
Me: uhmm... What?
The cat had it. Check the litterbox. The neighbour borrowed it. The FBI confiscated it. I saw the dog digging a hole in the church's backyard.
I'm making you a cake, here taste the batter.
Lucifer pretty sure it’s a spatula lol
Apple Pro we’re talking about the old mixer he used in this video, not the spatula
Your ideas are always awsome. You have a great creative mind my friend. Another beautiful project
So NICE of you to point all possible mistakes a beginner would possibly do,AND how to not DO. Very honest of you!!!
Love your honesty and creativity! Thanks for sharing what you learned. What a cool project!
Great video! Everything was very well done! One suggestion to save some money would have been to first fill 3/4 of the glass with junk stone and then just top off with the marbles. Video quality and audio is top notch, nice editing, very enjoyable to watch. Thanks!
Gorgeous!! I love all of your projects and you manage to explain everything so well! Also I appreciate that you admit your mistakes, makes it even more professional!
I love your clever solutions like the sheath so the burner comes out without disturbing the marbles, and the funnel for fuel. Always enjoy your projects!
probably want to warn people to use proper glass that handles the heat of flames. If it's not heat resistant glass its going to shatter sooner or later from temperature fluctuations.
That's what I came here to comment as well. That glass was thick but it didnt look like heat resistant glass.
Thanks for posting! I appreciate that you shared about your mistakes and other considerations like how hot the glass got after use.
OMGosh! I have been wanting a cool modern fireplace but I live in an apartment. I gave up the hope and decided to "approximate" the look with candles. But now I can have what I want AND I have two of those glass vases under my cabinet!! Thank you so much!!😍😍😍 Wish I had found your channel Sunday and I could have binged watched all Memorial Day 😁
Table top Fire pit 2.0 ..I like this version much better. Like the glass too. Good stuff as always bro!
Oh my god! Thank you for this! You did an amazing job! I'm buying my first home and i am going to make a few of these and put them around my yard for parties! Thank you thank you!
This is really clever. I love this. Thank you for sharing!
Wow!!! What a sleek, elegant piece!
Great looking project, especially for an outside table in winter (here in SW Florida). Consider using wedges on the sides of the glass with the thin sides down. If all the wedges are the same distance down, the glass should be centered and it should help keep the glass down. You can still use the hand clamps with the wedges or use small bar clamps.
Great job! I think I'm going to try this. Learning from your trials!
Killer work Glen! I love these out of the box ideas of yours.
Looks really nice! Love vessels with fire inside!
Nice! I'm fairly new to doing projects like this. I watch a lot of UA-cam videos but you are definitely my favorite. Keep it up
Congratulations yoy won my Subscription!!! I now have plans for the future decorating for outside
I love the fact that I’ve never seen a cake mixer used for cement before. But it looks like it worked incredibly well
I wouldn't though. The dust from the cement will collect in the venting holes of the blender. Also, it's too thick. It's going to stress out the motor and overheat it.
Wow very cool! Would be a great addition to a camping experience
I love your ideas, thanks for your inspiring videos!
Beautiful..!!! Wow..!

This is guy is amazing and practical!!
To help with that dimple, you can add sand till level before adding the rocks/marbles
sand glass???
That glass will crack and shatter if it's not borosilicate or pyrex glass.
kwxj61b
Thank you !
Not all pyrex is made from borosilicate anymore. Modern Pyrex sold in the USA is made from sodalite glass, which is much more unstable and will shatter from heat if it heats or cools too quickly.
kwxj61b
Bullshit. Regular glass can withstand extreme heat and cold. It just can’t handle sudden temperature changes
Depends on how hot the fuel burns. That's also why a small burner is in larger glasss.
@@kcb5336 Actually, borosilicate glass has a much lower coefficient of expansion (33) and higher thermal shock resistance than soda lime glass (96-104). Solid borosilicate glass rod can be put directly in a torch flame without cracking. Soda lime glass has to be brought up to temperature slowly.
Great job looks great
You make things very easy to understand
Thanks for showing 😊👑
Best design yet!
I really like this. I may make 1 or 10 for my patio and pole barn. Very cool. Thanks.
Nice, just a couple of suggestions, if you put some sand on the bottom of the glass before adding the burner, it will prevent the bottom of the glass from cracking from contact with the burner. Also, a sterno can be used with gel fuel and easier to control the height of the flame with the lid, and if you run out of gel fuel you can also use hand sanitizer since it will also burn clean and is 60% ethanol.
Please where a mask when working with cement including when you sand. Lost my uncle last year to cancer caused by working with cement.
Kemarie Bug sorry man 🙏🏽❤️ thanks for looking out for everyone
i did not know that. thks for that info
Silicosis?
Stopped working with hazardous material years ago
While yes wearing a mask whenever using dusty solids is a must, cement and sand dust causes silicosis not cancer. This is a scarring of the lung tissue over time that prevents oxygen from being readily absorbed into the blood stream.
too cool-i know what im making for x-mas gifts this year-thank you
This is really creative! One of your best yet. 👍👍
So talented. You did a great joy!

That's stunning!
This would be dope for a wedding table center
That is gorgeous!
This guy is amazing . I'm gonna follow him.
Nice one! FYI anytime you are looking for marbles or glass pebbles, check The Dollar Tree if you have one or Wal-mart. Those glass marbles are way cheaper in those places. Otherwise, pretty awesome. I may attempt that soon.
Awesome! I am making this!!!!
You knocked another one out of the park👍🏻
So simple yet so genius.

So cute!
Another one bites the dust Glen. Yeah like the idea of it and I want to do a few in a smaller version if possible.
I would be worried that the Glass would break. But I LOVE this idea.
Love your work Glen
!!!
Have you thought about the Japanese technic of lightning up the wood on fire to make it weather resistant? Just a suggestion since I'm loving your work.
Very cool! Thank you!
Really cool! I think some paint on the base, perhaps a tribal pattern, would have made it REALLY POP.
Nice...loved thus project.!!!
Great idea
I really like your concrete builds.
I am in the process of vamping up my garden, is it possible you could do a playhouse build?

"Hon, I'm borrowing the kitchenaid..."
Upvoted for using a mixer. That is classic. Why didn't I think of that. (Hope my wife doesn't attach the eggbeater to my 16v drill.)
Genius! You inspire me... but I’ll probably simply watch you lmao!
