My oldest just turned 10 on the 21st😭😭😭😭😭. I'll always look at him as my baby. My youngest is 2 & I still remember the feel of him in my arms as an infant. My step daughter is 20 & I always look at her as that 9yr old lil girl I never physically carried but fell irrevicably in love with.

Love this song. Feel like Thomas has become a hell of a song writer. He was good when he first came out but he's getting better and better. This song makes me think of a woman named Allison. In high school I was a senior and she was a freshman. I had a huge crush on her. We kissed a couple times, hugged, but never were boyfriend or girlfriend. Once I graduated we lost touch till about a year ago. I'm 50 now. Lol. She still looks the same, just older. We are friends on Facebook. She posted a high school pic the other day and I melted. Brought back those crush feelings and the great times we spent together. Then I heard this song and could only think of her. I stare at that pic now. Great song Thomas!!

QueenieofHearts I think that this is the good kind of pop country. Some are just way to pop, but this is a good mix. I do still prefer classic/outlaw country though . At least artists like Colter Wall, Tyler Childers, and The Steel Woods are keeping it alive 🙂

That country still has all the defining characteristics of country, such as steel guitar, story telling, etc. Modern pop country has none of that, so it isn’t even really country at all
