- The wait is finally over! Farming Simulator 25 has been announced, with a release date of 12th November 2024 for PC, PS5, Xbox and Mac. I also agree with you where you said how they need to stay on their own engine to be able to have the capability and freedom to do everything Farm Sim can. However I think the guy who commented did not word it right. He probably meant that the engine has not made any huge leaps in terms of features like dynamic ground or something like that. For example large realistically sized log piles in multiplayer are very laggy and cause low FPS and have been since FS17. That would require engine optimization/improvements. So while the engine has to stay, it just needs to be improved in the right areas in my opinion. (Also so that the modders have more new core engine mechanics and scripts to mess about with)
Really happy about the long-overdue Asia push, triple monitor would be icing on the cake.
I personally think people over-analyze and over speculate things from the CGI trailer. And the only reason why I say that is because at least from seeing past FS versions releases, the CGI trailers' little details never really end up having much meaning and results in the released game. I think its mostly just for hype in my opinion and not an very accurate representation but more of a general one.
Correct, totally agree
A very neat feature would be REAL Irrigation, and not just the circle type, which is actually rarely used on real farms. Having gravity/trench fed watering lines is also a real thing for certain types of crops and locations. Also things like chicken and turkey manure spreading is a thing, as well as human waste/sewage treated fertilizer plants and the selling of that is also a thing, of course the list can go on, but having MORE realism is I think the key to expanding FS.

@BubbaDoestheInternet I thought I would be the only one who would like to see irrigation eventually play a more important part of Farming "Simulator". Precision Farming Pro++. Like with Nitrogen etc I would like to be able to monitor soil moisture levels. If rain fall was too low and soil is too dry, I want to turn on my pivots and make sure the crops get enough water to grow strong and tall.
I hope there are coffee beans, that would really round out the east Asia map.
Subaru has 6 stars in its logo. Not sure how much they have to do with farming. Also, Mitsubishi/Mercedes/Western Star are all Daimler truck and bus brands and all have stars.

hi just got to add me tuppence worth, they are very careful to say ground deformation as oppassed to dynamic so more terra farm than mud runner as Lars put it - if the field was so soft as to get axle deep i'm told farmers just wouldn't go in, so we not doing that-
On a nicer note , when they released 22 they went into detail on the sound engine rebuild, and graphics rebuild but also more than once, it was said the engine (either) is strong but we still have some limitations, here's hoping they take off the governor and turn up he pump !
p.s for the reskin bods, your merely demonstrating your lack of knowledge , dont embarass yourself, there's no rush...

The killer for me is if the helper AI has improved a LOT.
Running a large farm with the idiot AI is (for me) not even slightly enjoyable.
Micro managing idiots who get stuck in fields, drive into ditches, can't find their way down a straight road.
So I play tiny 3 or 4 field farms because offloading tasks to the Ai is just an exercise in frustration. I know I'm missing 80% of the game doing this. But that's how bad the built in AI is
I assume you are on console? But yes agree whole AI needs an improvement. That said FS22 was a big step forward from FS19 which was truly awful 😂
The Star Align and by stars we mean the Hoof GP is in the wings and will be a regular visitor coming to sort out your coos feet.
