In this driving lesson, I test my brother's independent skills on manoeuvres, moving off and stopping, meeting traffic, using mirrors and mini roundabouts! I'm teaching my FIRST TIME learner driver little brother how to drive a manual car on PUBLIC ROADS so that he can pass his driving test! 😳 Is he ready to take his practical driving test? 👀

We’re lucky Juvie can walk, imagine if his legs didn’t work and had to operate a wheelchair, he’d run into old ladies on a regular
💀💀💀
This is the best comment so far 🤣
Thats red card fam, violation 😂... 📕
Honestly he’s really not that bad.
His main issue is that no routine is stuck in his head - it’ll be harder now that he’s had a few lessons, but it’s not impossible.
Keep re-emphasising the MSM, blind spots when moving off, mirrors before braking, etc, & he’ll do it himself eventually.
Oh, and I think an explanation on Google Maps of how to navigate around a roundabout + when to indicate, would be very helpful for him!
be quiet stop acting like you can be an instructor
Haven't heard of mirrors before braking 🤔.
@@quantumfizzics9265 Yeahh you only do that if you do a sudden stop
he would do much better with an automatic
@@adnanshahid9766 everyone would find it easier lol
The problem is that you have conditioned him to not think about what he is doing on the road. Rather he has been conditioned to simply follow instructions when driving. The solution to this would be to turn the instructions into questions so he has to critically think about them: For example What gear should you be in? (When he's not changing gear). What lane should we be in?, how fast should we be going? How far should we stay back from the vehicle in front? stuff like that would be helpful for him to learn to identify these problems by himself and fix them accordingly.
great suggestion 👍
18:15 jeremy you handled that like a champ 👏 love that you’re honest and not letting him make the excuses
Ye hate when he gets mad at Jeremy for his own mistake and has strope like a spoiled brat 😅
@@capforlife1 definitely, it always seems to be the car and never him, for example when it never goes into 5th gear because it’s the gearbox fault 😂
I know right he blames his brother for making him drive a bad car it’s because he is not worthy of driving a nice one
@@ayooblg3858 but it doesn’t help he has a m140 i waiting for him cause that will genuinely kill him and others
@@capforlife1 Fr bro said he'd love a new car when his bro bought him a brand new BMW that's customised to maxx waiting at his doorstep. People wait years to own a car like that
Hopefully there's a national lockdown if juvie passes
Fr
To be fair he will keep driving without passing so surely it is better he passes so he is at a driving standard for the roads in the UK.
U mean lockdown during the test so he can pass
Tbf I feel he can drive. Just needs to practice his for his theory test and do mock tests, then he may have potential to pass
@@ifmcfawn8257 he’s gonna get so many minors in mirror checks, he’s had two professional mock tests and both have been stopped after 5 mins
Don’t think he checked a single mirror this whole video 😂
If you are committed to teaching him how to drive, and if you think you will be doing this for a significant period of time, it may be worth considering getting a set of dual controls installed in the car. That way, both you and the driving instructor will be able to offer everyone on the car a better safety net instead of just verbal instructions. I recall that it costs around 200-300 quid to do, so perhaps a worthy investment in all objectiveness?
His biggest issue seems to be lack of situational awareness/understanding. Whilst I believe driving can help to develop this, clearly your brother struggles to process everything around him, and make the correct decisions whilst he's driving. I'd recommend getting him to watch other learners on youtube, to learn through their mistakes (and success), and quiz him on why errors occurred and what response drivers should make (same with what went well). Once he's able to analyse others driving it should improve his general awareness and then he can make decisions on his own instead of waiting for you to tell him. Hope this helps!☺
The problem is his terrible instruction. His brother needs a proper instructor, like Aman. But then where would he get his youtube content from if his brother improved his driving too much?
@@dtz1000 What no, his brother doesnt have any common sense.... or even any sense of direction like cmon
@@Asian_Platz They both have problems.
His brother is trying to give him confidence by letting him do it himself, but maybe giving him confidence is the wrong approach and he needs direct orders. Which by now, I will say his brother needs direct orders.
@@MyLife-og2kr They both know it's a fail if you don't check the blind spots as they were both told by Aman, but neither of them are interested.
If the driver wanted to pass then he would check the blind spots. If his brother wanted him to pass he would remind him to check the blind spots. Either they are both stupid or they both don't want to pass.
i generally have faith he could pass but he needs to keep his routine down each time, i understand how hard it is, believe me i struggled for a while but i eventually got it down. everyone has their mistakes.
We will get there soon 😎
@@JrizzyJeremy did he pass his theory test
@Jrizzy Jeremy good luck in your journey lads
@@darrenross1807 nope he said he failed for a 7th time
@@yasingurlek1515 he's been playing too much Roblox instead of revising theory
The government have released the emergency alert, so everyone gets a warning when his Bro is on the road🤣🤣
Satnavs got that update too
He is really improving and it’s a good thing that he is still getting it going without giving up . I think you can direct him just like how the examiners do it if you just keep quiet and use your hands he is gonna get confused.and he should always be proud because not everyone get this opportunity.thanks
The only thing your brother needs is an actual driving instructor - growing up I was always told that driving instructors teach you how to pass your test, not how people actually drive on the road… and that’s exactly what your brother needs if he ever stands a chance at passing💁🏼♀️
And it still gives you the basis for how to drive even if you change some things (like you don't check your mirrors as much as they want you to in the test but it still teaches you to get into those good habits even if it's excessive). This dude is a genuine liability and is going to cause a crash at some point.
He needs to check his blind spots properly before moving off, this is a important thing. The best advice I can give to him is drive nice and smoothly, theres no need for sudden reactions. Take your time by always planning ahead and dont rush it. Forward planning is the key to driving, if you can master that then you can be a good driver.
I think you really need make sure Juvie is clearly looking in the mirrors cuz he'd fail instantly with his current mirror work
He is slowly getting better. It doesn't help that Jeremy is not a driving instructor. Not teaching him the required things that are needed to pass his test.
currently im learning too but theres a few things he needs to learn , firstly he needs to check his mirrors then indicate , secondly dont panick just take it smooth , and thirdly teach him how to handle busy situations if that makes sense hope this helps all the best
5 mins was all he could last without lashing out on juvie😂😂😂
A lot of these comments are seriously deluded.
He’s no where near passing.
He very rarely checks blind spots or all mirrors when stopping, parking, reversing, moving off, changing lanes or taking turns.
I noticed him going from 1st gear straight into 4th gear numerous times throughout the video.
Lane discipline exiting roundabouts, motorways and carriageways is terrible and dangerous in fact.
Do him a favour and get him a proper driving instructor.
he needs to check is mirros and blindspots more often but overall he has improved alot! well done juv
When I was first learning to drive I relied on my boyfriend so much like I needed him basically telling me what to do and it made me a worse driver because I was driving nervous and scared and unsure. When I drove on my own I got so much better because I just trusted myself and took control. Obviously I understood the rules of the road and could operate a vehicle by then, just realized codependency was really hurting me.
This! This was why I had to change driving instructors my first driving instructor was so intense. She wanted to tell me to go through and analysis me every decision I made. She would make me think my thought process was wrong and unsafe. She made me rely on her so much. As soon as I switched I gained so much more confidence as my new instructor allowed me to trust and believe in my own decisions
@@shayanlatif1484 I did, my boyfriend mentioned that I was a good driver and was just driving scared. That’s when I realized I needed less intervention. I switched and had someone who basically sat and chatted with me about mundane things while I drove. He said he would only intervene if I was doing something dangerous. I think talking through is helpful when someone is first starting out but eventually you’ve got to see how you do on your own.
@Michele G That's good! At least you learnt how to drive independently. Of course, we can't depend on someone all the time, otherwise we wouldn't learn anything. So, well done! 👍
Also, at least your nerves cooled down as you get used to driving independently.
@@ceza1487 That's good! At least you had an instructor who can trust you. 👍
@@shayanlatif1484 thank you!
Like how you talk to him about the mirror, single, manoeuvre and he still don't check mirrors 😂😂😂
icl i can’t describe how much i smile when i see a driving video like they are so entertaining for what reason ❤gd luck to him in passing his theory
You should get him to say what he’s doing as he’s doing it, every single gear movement, mirror check, msm, all that - helped me pass my test as someone who didn’t take to driving so quickly
My bro needs to take responsibility for his mistakes. He’s not checking his mirrors, blind spots or indicating then he blamed it on him not liking the car. You got to teach him to be aware of his surroundings and recognise why he’s making mistakes.
he clear as day doesnt want to drive a manual if he changed to auto which he likes he will improve faster basic human logic
tbf when he drives a smoother car, hes alot calmer and doess his checks
I wouldn't start anyone who doesn't know how to drive on a manual car. Too much information to keep up which then causes panic which then causes possible crash, especially on a high traffic area.
nah the “you silly sausage you stupid fraud” got me😂😂😂😂
I think Juvie needs more driving lessons with your instructions. And when he is confident and nailing those instincts (checking mirror, indicating, gear changes) then try the quieter lessons, then mock tests. I just passed last July and the first time my instructor went quiet on me- made me really nervous!
He drives a car like a blinkered horse. Not once has Juvenal checked his mirrors when moving off, negotiating lanes or turning into junctions. A dangerous driver to himself and other drivers on the road.
without sounding rude you NEED to teach him the basics, get it drilled into his skull: MIRROR SIGNAL MANOURVER and get him to check his mirrors once every 30-40 seconds, test him by asking him to describe whats around him so he HAS to look in his mirrors and get him to focus on planning ahead, for example when coming up to a red light instead of putting it in first gear as the light changes to green if you help him get in to the habit of going down to first gear on approach to the lights he'll become smoother and not panic so much.
I had the issue too ( 26:56 ) and my instructor just put the satnav on for 30 mins. I feel like this might be the next step. Then the next 30 was following signs. You can’t ask the satnav or signs any questions 😂Hope this helps!
Also noticed that after he took that deep sigh, he was calmer and made better decisions. I understand the panic/stress but remind him to BREATHE 😂
The amount of mistakes he's doing is still insane. He hasn't improved... still no mirror/blind checks/indicating (the basics).
Think he checked his mirrors before moving off but then I don't think he checked mirrors once after he moved off.
18:00 bro doesn’t check his mirrors before he brakes and turns and then starts blaming the car about it 😂
You know how to overcome his issues get a real driving instructor. He has no routine. Its flick on the indicator and go jeremy is the one checking mirrors.
7:05 i think that blue car knows that it's the crazy test driver and he doesn't want anything to do with them 😂
6:36 is where I started to crank up 😂😂
You should vocally direct him, it’s so much harder to follow hands signals especially at his skill level
Hey bro, always remember, mirror, signal, mirror, you don’t look bro, I didn't see you look left once, Take Bro!
YOOOO, The real reason that the government are testing the emergency alert, is so everyone is warned when his bro is on the road 😂😂
I’ve noticed Juvie doesn’t check his mirrors and blind spots as much as he should. He’s an ok driver just needs to work on checking his blind spots and mirrors when moving off or in a junction or even turning into a new road every so often. I really have hope for him to pass his driving test but the biggest obstacle is his theory test 😬😬 if he fixes up on those things and his confidence on the road then I honestly see him getting his license soon.
He needs to check his mirrors before changing direction, that also applies to moving back to his lane after going around a parked car. Another words, when hell turn the steering wheel a bit and its not in a bend (in the bend hed still go in the same direction..), he NEEDS to check appropriate mirrors before changing direction of his car, and u gotta make sure of this everytime... dont tell him ,,nice bro,, cuz he had his car under control when taking for example a left turn. Tell him ,,nice bro, u just ran over a granny undertaking u on her bicycle.,, And also make sure he signals in time and cancels that bloody signal after if its still on, what if ppl will think hes parking up or taking a turn when he plans to do neither?
Jrizzy
Maybe you need to watch a few videos on Driving lessons.
Clearview driving channel will teach you how to give the correct commands then your little bro will be test ready
I think Juvy wants to drive automatic as its the easier option to him ( less effort ) , at this point a lot of his issues seem to be that he hasn’t learned , understood or remembered the basics routines needed like MSM , the rules of the road etc he is completely dependent on jeremy to tell him what to do , he would benefit greatly from reading the learning to drive book by dvla , or the app , the highway code & traffic signs & markings .& of course proper lessons. Unfortunately he is still not checking his mirrors, applying signals & is crossing lanes . He has improved though.
DGN driving do an ultimate driving course with all the information he needs in. Id use that, saves so much time. If I hadn't had loads of lessons before finding his channel I would have used it
This guy stares dead straight while indicating ffs
Shouldn’t be mixing driving lessons with challenges especially when he can barely drive😂😭
If he's still not able to drive. You should restart him with an automatic car. At least then he doesn't have to think so much. Once he gets more confident behind the wheel then move back to the manual car. Also find a low traffic area where he doesn't have to worry about cars. Make it easier on him.
Juvenal wants to drive in an automatic car only.
Making him need to look away from the road to follow directions seems like a terrible idea. Maybe a satnav telling him a route would have been better.
During my test whilst I followed the satnav it was silent. Then he made small talk after with me with helped calm my nerves. Which I then passed my test in the end
Exactly, it's not like an examiner won't tell you directions for atleast half of the route anyway.
People are making jokes about his driving, remember who taught you to drive don't think you were born to naturally drive. It takes time for some people to get used to the roads quicker than others that doesn't mean their bad. Its all about practise.
I think what I and many others are frustrated about is the fact that Juvenal doesn't really try to get better because he never had to work for it.
Want a car? Jeremy will get me one whether I want one or not. Want to learn to drive? No need to work and save up for lessons, my brother will just teach me even if he's not qualified. Fail a theory test again? That's fine, my brother will pay for it. Want to improve? If I do the same things over and over again, something will change right? It's not as if there aren't helpful comments or some good resources to help me.
Honestly, at this point, they're just doing it for views. You mean well but at the same time it's understandable why people are frustrated. Juvenal may say he wants his license but he really doesn't show it. Jeremy is also problematic but at least he reads the comments. I have yet to see proof that Juvenal not only reads them, but takes the constructive comments on board too.
"When someone's not there talking to you, you don't know what to do. Why?"
Probably because he hasn't been taught the basics and has no idea what he's doing.
Although saying that, it's pretty entertaining 😂
i love it when he gets shouted at when he makes a mistake 🤣🤣
In my opinion he can drive, but he cannot drive to pass a test. Should do these as well as driving lessons :)
i agree
I pray that they don't live near me. I never want to meet this guy on the road 😂😂
I mean the examiner will say where to go still 😂 apart from the sat nav part.
I’d love to see him race that bmw M140i 😅
👀😂
My dude needs to seriously start checking his mirrors. Dont think he did once the entire video. Nearly knocked the motorcyclist on his arse on the roundabout! Dangerous stuff mate.
I have a suggestion for you, Jeremy. Give Juvenal 2 things: an automatic car (as Juvenal requested 3 times in a row) and some space away from him. He needs some time off.
He needs a proper instructor. He will never pass with lessons from Jeremy only. Jeremy would fail a driving test more often than he passes. He is not an instructor. But at the end of the day, Juvenal being bad makes for good content, so ofcourse they will continue having lessons together, for the content. Its bringing them income in!
@Edward Morris Jeremy failed the driving test twice due to problems with parallel parking. He parked far away from the pavement twice. And, of course, Juvenal needs a professional driving instructor. I need one as well.
I think you could explain him more about why he is doing that thing, for an example: explain more to him why he needs to indicate and what could happen if he doesn't indicate, explain more about the signs, why they're there and what to do and that stuff, because once you explain to him, he starts to think about the situations and he tries to create a solution for a possible circunstance or a problem, I learned that way. I dunno, but I honestly think it's a good way for him to learn
7:07+ Has me cryin bruh "U silly sausage!" In all my days on this earth, I've never heard this!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The way Jeremy’s voice gets higher when he shouts sends me
He doesnt have the mindset to drive as in he cant do all the necessary things whilst controlling a vehicle e.g naturaly looking around making sure hes in correct gear and whilst steering, its all bot movements but he is improving 😅
Take him to an empty parking lot or area with not a lot of traffic and get him to drive by himself why’ll you watch him outside. He needs to make the driving decisions himself he’s waiting for you to reassure him on decisions he needs to make them himself.
This seems a bit silly. If you’re not giving him directions it means he has to look away from the road to know where to go. Just say “turn right” or ask him to follow the sat nav. The guy needs proper lessons and stuff explained to him in a way he understands, he is still not checking mirrors or blind spots.
I agree. Every driving examiner will always give directions if there are no sat navs. No examiner will EVER cover their mouths with their masking tapes.
I think the best thing to do is for Juvie to say exactly what he is thinking and doing. This should give Jrizzy piece of mind and would allow him to keep his hand off the handbrake. He could also let Juvenal to drive where he wants to go. What I notice about Juvenal is that he is always unsure where to go regarding exits of roundabouts. I would say a sat nav is a good idea as there is the visual help it gives you and it tells you to keep left or to keep right.
@@danieltesfaye8517 Exactly. Jeremy provided Juvenal a sat nav before, so why not now before pretending to get kidnapped? And yes, I don't understand why Jeremy is fidgeting with the handbrake because no driving examiner will use the handbrake.
He never owns up to any mistakes he makes, it's never his fault.
Blames the car when it has nothing to do with his actions in the car, a new car won't teach him to check his blindspots and mirrors regularly.
He needs to do more independent driving.
15:09 “I want you to address that”😂😂
I got an idea stop the lessons and start them again when he’s serious about learning to drive. Man first couple episodes were funny now it’s just frustrating cause he is not serious at all about trying to actually learn. Get me automatic he says like that’s gone fix the issue instantly😂😂
Your brothers needs to get used to mirros checks, that’s his major problem and fun fact: that’s the key to passing a driving test.
Anyone else wondering why he didn't use a satnav for his bro to follow
9:55 “oohh friend” the inbetweeners
the clutch probably melted to the flywheel and pressure plate after this lesson ahaha
He needs to be taught how to follow a satnav aswell. As he will have to do independant driving in his test..
he should've given verbal instructions instead of hand signals
imagine snake hands mean follow the road😂
Bro still a bit confused whether indicate left or right 😂😅
Should be a bank holiday when he pass the practic test, it's more important than Charles III Aniversary😅

"What is that one thing you struggle with during a test"
Erm, just passing it tbf. Enough said 🤣
It's the year 2050. We re still enjoying watching him everyday.
Haven’t even seen the video and all ready know its a banger
❤
Usually there comes a point where everything just *clicks* when it comes to driving and everything becomes natural and autopilot lol
This is just me and my dad these times 🤣🤣🤣
He was much happier calm in an automatic vehicle 😂❤
the part when jrizzy said do not scare the horse had me laughing
Hey the guy driving reminds me a lot about myself. I have the same kind of behaviour. We both share the same struggles and emotions when it comes to learning 😂💪 I do hope he passes and gets his license
You could try using a driving sim, you can get them pretty accurate and obviously will help with the gears and clutch etc
this is going to be your year from the looks of all your banger videos recently 🙌
Damn some ppl just learn differently. I learned how to drive within a few hours lol
Seriously what is so difficult about checking the blind spot before moving off? it is very dangerous
Love watching these videos each week!
But I think should let him just use an automatic it's what he'd like to drive not a manual and plenty automatics out there to choose from! My friend did the same tried with manual and struggled as kept forgetting to go down gears causing to stall and then forgetting to do checks as she felt like was too much. So tried automatic and was much better and could remain more focused. 😊 Yes learning in a manual gives you the choice of driving either but would let him choose what he'd like and feel better driving in as better chance of him improving more
I feel sorry for the clutch
16:12 🤣
Love the big brother ,he has much love and patience oops compassion for his brother.
I have watch since day one without commenting. But I want to say I’m learning myself and it is hard and the more practice you have the better. You are doing well and improving but you need to have more confidence in yourself. As without having confidence you don’t believe you can drive. I am going through this now, I need to have faith in myself. However I do want to say in this video, you didn’t check your mirror before moving over and the motorcycle appeared. So check check check your mirror when you enter a new road, before you move over either left and right. Check your mirror every 5-10 minutes as anything could appear out of nowhere and before you stop, center and left. You stopped and then started, your brother said check your mirrors but you didn’t check your mirrors or blind spot before moving again. You need to remember;
M.S.P.S.L (Mirror, signal, position, speed and look) before turning into a side road and junction.
P.O.M (Prepare, observe and move) - moving the car off from a stationary position.
L.A.D.A (Look, assess, decide and act)- road junctions, pelican crossings and roundabouts
I also want to add positive feedback about your driving is essential especially when you lack confidence
I would also say maybe try a test route from the test centre where you live. And give him one direction. The only way he will overcome this if you let him face his fear head on because he will be driving on his own at some point. What I had to do with country lane which I hated and I had a fear of losing control. But In the process, giving me a lot of positive reinforcement, which 100% helped.
Jeremy: A lot of people say u panic when I talk ?
Juvenal: yeh (no hesitation)😂😂😂
Automatic would give more time to focus, he's not checking mirrors + blind spot, center mirror left mirror indicate then minouver if turning left center then right if turning right. Check mirrors every 5-10 secinds as need to on test. Would be intetesting to see him drive with no instruction for 25+ minutes, he decides where to go
Please can you let me know when your bro is on the road - I need to make sure that I'm off the streets 😂😂
🌝🌚
Jeremy gave up on the whole no talking idea reallll quick lol
There is improvement. Try to relax a bit and breathe, you're far too tense. When you come to a junction start to change down the gears. Then you will be ready and hopefully not in panic mode
Jeremy! Do one mock test with Dgn driving, he is happy to do a mock test with Juvenal 😂😂😂
Fuck off, he'll yeet him out of the car LMAO
Get him to plan a route A-B short drive but somewhere he has not been, then you aint talking plus he aint driving blind he will have an idea where he is going before he starts just needs a destination in mind and follow those road signs, then its real independent driving. Alot of drivers in uk and this is not learners i mean 80% of drivers are bad drivers because they dont plan routes they just plug the satnav in and then cut us all up when they end up in wrong lanes and put us all at risk.
23:56 those chevron markings means that traffic will be passing on both sides of the markings going in the same direction, when you see hatched markings it means that traffic will be passing on both sides of the markings going in opposite directions, with both markings, if there’s a broken white line you shouldn’t enter the area unless it is safe and necessary to do so, if there’s a solid white line then you must not enter the area unless it’s an emergency, there is one exception however, on a single carriageway at the end of an overtaking lane where 2 lanes reduce into 1 you may cross the solid white line and enter the hatched area for any of the reasons mentioned for double white lines (accessing property, turning into or out of a side road, passing a stationary vehicle, overtaking a cyclist horse or road maintenance vehicle travelling at 10mph or less.
A technique my examiner taught me was to just speak aloud about everything i was planning. You should try this too say was his thought process is and see what he's missing.
I think it would improve fluidity if you teach him how to turn the steering wheel properly. That would definitely help him in speed.
Been a jrizzy fan for long time man. Hopefully juvvy passes soon
