Dame your lucky when I’m up at the farm in Wanon Niwat the Wife always says get your own, come all the way from Australia and I’m eating cornflakes for breakfast 😂
The prayer they say is a blessing to the people. The monks go on alms rounds without shoes to show their intention to train monks to be ascetic, patient and diligent. To be a good example for the villagers. We give alms without shoes to show respect and faith in the monks.
Thai ladies always need money, Pui tries to get it when she can. This specific time is that she bought me a pair of golfing shorts and was testing me to get her money back.
Wondering if you will ever join Pui in sy baht (giving food to the monks). An abbot of a temple in Kut Bak, Sakun Nakorn explained to me that giving of the food is not only that, but it is for developing a spirit of compassion and generosity in the people. I have followed , at a respectful distance, monks on their rounds and seen absolutely dirt poor people provide small amounts of rice to the monks. Maybe this practice has a lot to do with the nature of Thai people. Enjoy your videos from SoCal.

Tip #327 never eat sushi from the street market.
I'm with you. It's not really sushi other than some shrimp that was frozen. It's all just veggies and rice. There is no fish included.
for why she need money?

I’ve seen some monks many times eating pizza in the Pizza Company while on there latest iPhone.
I have not participated in their offering other than buying the goods. Maybe some day after I learn more about budism.
