Setting the Radio code on a Hyundai I30

Thanks it works on i30 CW 2011. In case you lost your pin code, like I did, I could get it back by using last four digit of radio serial number and adding 1212 to it. For the radio serial you have to remove the radio (there are other vids for that). So in my case, the last four digit of the serial number were 0829, add 1212, gives the pin of 2041 (0829+1212=2041).

hi Thanks for info. Dealer in Newcastle UK has told me my 2011 I30 radio is plug and play no code! Let's hope he's correct Thanks

Hi. Thanks this was helpful. Where did u get your 4 digit code from? I have all my purchase docs on the car and no where does it mention radio code? On my spare remote key there is a HK0001 number is this it?
Otherwise i will contact the selling dealer Cheers

+Keith Walters it was on a piece of paper that came with all the papers that came with the car. They told us what it was for but didn't need it until the battery was flat for 3 months.
/Hopefully the dealer has the code for you.
