Elvis Bara | Mijiyanga

Does anybody remember the ship named Cora?
Elvis Bara connects to that old Mijiyanga (Boat) that used to deliver cargo to Groote Eylandt from the 1940's onwards.
The connection is inspired by a painting by his father that was returned with the Peter Worsley collection from Manchester Museum supported by the AIATSIS Return of Cultural Heritage program.
The film features the imagery of deceased persons and has been approved by Elvis Bara. Elvis wished for the film to be published and shared, particularly with the future generations of Warnumamalya (traditional owners of the Groote Archipelago).
