she's the best in all of rock today, as she was 5 years ago, and probably will be 5 years from now. she's easily the greatest female rock singer ever and one of the best ever. Her road stamina is unmatched throughout history.
This video ends before we see it, but Selena Gomez and Lzzy Hale had a very nice moment. Selena shook Lzzy's hand and paid her a nice compliment. Lzzy bowed and gave a sincere 'Thank you'. Then Selena went to compliment each member of the band one by one. Now, I'm NOT AT ALL a Selena Gomez fan. But she was classy. I won't say anything bad about her.
for me the sense is not in hating Selena's personality or even her vocals but is in many people who pay too much attention to this lil pop princess while Halestorm is the underrated band compared to Selena
@@scava1758 The problem is including the difference in musical genres these women in their twenties grew up with Selena Gomez as children or tweens. They don't know who Lzzy Hale is and that she didn't really break more into the mainstream after she found the right sound and the right band to go along with it in her early thirties I think. Corey was right. If Lizzy could find a way to capture that live feel on an album? it would be one of the best rock albums to come out within the last 15 years.
@@Crcrc16 I find that baffling. Much of Lzzy's artistry goes into composition and lyrics, and while you definitely lose something by not seeing the performance, she loads each song with TONS of nuance (lyrically, compositionally and even vocally) to make sure it's still authentic. I think so many of their recorded songs are great, and a few I think are real masterpieces.
I think one of the things I like the most about Halestorm is that it's not just Lzzy that grabs your attention, it's Arejay. I've seen so many bands in which the drummer just blends into the background because they're just sitting there playing normal, but Arejay is always doing tricks and standing up on is drum set and stuff so that even when I'm trying to focus on Lzzy, my gaze wanders to him, curious about what antics he's up too. He's just as much a performer as Lzzy.
Treyvlog Yeah very true :p but what i like about bands is that there's a group making music and performing it. Not just an upjumped 'solo artist' with a whole team behind his back that does most of the work
@Rebecca Skinner I saw Halestorm just a few months ago. Arejay sat on a giant raised platform in a neon green suit, and played on a matching neon green kit. He, uh...yeah he didn't blend in.
I've seen Halestorm in person at Rock-am-ring and I have to say that they are even better in person! This song is not auto tune or pre-recorded... What you are seeing is a rare thing, a live performance that is actually a real live performance...Just an amazing group! Thanks for uploading!
Yeah what happens is that on a concert they get tired they're humans so they can listen a litle bit diferent in this ocation she sings just this song so she have energy to do that
She is such a throw back to the days when rock ruled and singer had to be able to sing. Lzzy is so flippin' talented. She has more vocal ability in her little finger than all the singers in the top 40 put together. LOVE ME SOME LZZY!
Lzzy is one of those vocalists you just stare at in awe when she’s performing. I’d kill to attend a Halestorm concert in a small venue. Flawless performance of this song
@@phoenix21studios I believe they were lamb of God anthrax marilyn mansion megadeth and iron maiden so really quite impressive considering the other nominees

Wow. That was so awesome. This song is so enchanting. Lzzy has such great stage presence. They really are able to create such an atmosphere in that room, and Lzzy draws you in so well. Connects to the camera and stage so well as well. Solid performance. I could feel it, and it kept building throughout without getting boring. LOVE THEM!
+AI N. Lyne That is sort of my point. The only time they get on national tv at that time and they pick a slow song. They should have melted everyones faces with a fast song
I love how she almost never makes eye contact with the camera, it really makes it seem like she's there to actually perform and not in it for the attention :)
After all the years of great Halestorm tunes. This is still my favorite. Incredible. Saw them live in Baltimore a few years ago. They did a double show that was fantastic.
You haven't seen much of Arejay's badassery behind the Kit then. Go to a Halestorm concert. You won't be disappointed. Especially when there's a drum solo just for him.
This is one of my favorite videos of Halestorm bc you can literally see her love for music especially when you see her at the end of the song and she can't contain the fact that she usually has a guitar in her hands!! Her passion is so inspiring and she will always be my favorite artist!!
I hardly ever watched many late night shows after Johnny Carson but I did see this on that night! Sometimes you get lucky and here who's going to be on beforehand!! Awesome performance!!
I love at the end when you could tell that the band were so pumped at how great the performance was turning out.... like they fn knew that this was one of those perfect music moments... by far the best live performance I've ever seen on tv or film.
This performance is incredible. I would watch this video on one of my highschool library computers during study hall. Jeez nearly 10 yrs ago now. Halestorm been along for the ride
I love how they are just as good live as they are on cd. I hate how so many singers get attention because of how good editing can make them sound. This is one of the few REAL bands left. Hail Halestorm!
She really does an amazing show. I got to see them live at Nebraskaland days in June. She played until she was forced off the stage by an incoming thunderstorm. She laughed about it telling us the crowd to be careful what you name your band because it might just follow you everywhere
So bummed it took me this long to find them!! I am now a LIFE LONG FAN and have bought everything they have ever released! She is so amazing and he range can't be compared!!
Lizzy Hale's vocals is the best!!! I love the way she delivers songs!!! There's emotion and force!!! I love vocals with force!!! She sings with passion!!!

This wasn’t just a song. It was a theatrical performance…..executed perfectly.
Allentown PA….on the map.

I love this song. Keep rockin it.

@BenjaminRichardCraig No lies detected.😊
i think this is one of the best preformence on tv ever shown

I agree too

Almog Azoulay not quite but maybe top ten. Disturbed sound of silence live
I like disturbed as much as the next guy, but they absolutely butchered sound of silence
Are you kidding me??? That vocal -- unbelievable.

Ms. Alex I can't stand her recorded stuff. I LOVE her live. So I agree with this statement.

Lzzy is arguably the greatest female rock singer ever. Right up there with Joan Jett
And Benatar for sure, although Lizzy obviously has stronger love for heavy rock than Pat.
Don't forget Ann Wilson and Janis Joplin. I like Lady the best though.
I'm not a halestorm fan but Lizzy is better than Joan Jett IMO.
Lzzy was often inspired by Janice Joplin growing up. I get those vibes when I hear her grunge's

Ugh the only live performance that always gives me goosebumps no matter how much i listen to it
