The argument "the writers made Superman that way" doesn't pass. DC approved this game. We're not 1990s Nintendo approving CD-i Zelda and only later regretting it - we're in 2024 and if DC approves a Superman that would get mindcontrolled by Brainiac then that's what Superman is, a moron that killed his entire crew.
Thank you...bad writing or not the superman still exists. We need to not look at it like, oh it's not his fault it's the writers. Like come on...we have to look at what we are given
The argument "DC approved this game" doesn't pass either Comic corporations dont work like that. We're not 1960's Marvel where all rights to Spider-Man were relegated to Stan Lee and Jack Kirby - We're in 2024 where DC has previously approved Snyder's movies and All-Star Batman, so I guess that Batman is officially a crackhead who kidnapped a child and had sex with his best friend's daughter with burning corpses in the background
DC approved the Justice League episode where Batman led the team into Darkseid’s trap despite Superman telling them otherwise. So I guess Batman is officially an idiot now.
I hate it when writers portray Superman as an idiot. He’s meant to be an optimist, not a moron. Heck, there’s even been times he’s been quite pessimistic. Just look at any story where Lex Luthor is running for president.
Exactly, yet a lot of writers that touch Superman either really want Jesus to respawn for a second time or they want nothing good to do with him and treat him like garbage
Superman isnt even this stupid. Its just bad writing. Superman has genius level intelligence and can literally learn things professionally in a matter of minutes.
@@fugitivehunterunless they wrap in up in a year I doubt we’ll get complete story. Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they are completely changing the script behind the scenes after the reception they got
Which is ironic because Batman is the one who lead the League into Darkseid’s trap and Superman was the one in the right. But of course no one watched the episode.
True but not everyone likes his methods. Especially putting the mission first over the fate and trust to other leaguers. And this what led Jason Todd to become the Red Hood. His obsession to the mission is also Batman’s downfall.
To be fair, nobody really listens when Superman is right about evil aliens. - In DCAU, Darkseid comes to the League for help while being invaded by Brainiac, and Superman warns them saying "Don't help him. He's going to backstab you all. You don't know him like I do." And Batman's response is basically "We know he used you and discarded you like trash. Cry me a river." And Superman ends up being right anyway? - In Justice League Dark, random people are going crazy and Superman's like "Hey guys, maybe magic is an issue". And Batman again shuts him down saying "Maybe spend more time on the streets instead of flying over them." And he ends up being right again. It's not Superman’s fault the League doesn't listen to him when he talks logically, but is ready to follow him whenever he says something dumb.
@@marvel0973 Thing is, whenever Batman is wrong, fans don't focus on it because they're too busy focusing on his badass one-liners and jabs at his teammates which he uses to cover up his mistakes. Like my above two examples, where Batman is wrong on both accounts, but fans focus more on his lines -> "We know he used you, humiliated you, and threw you away like trash. Cry me a river." -> "Maybe spend more time on the streets instead of flying over them" You want more examples? In Final Crisis, Batman creates an Orwellian spy system called Brother Eye which falls into the hands of his enemies and becomes a threat to the world. Instead of focusing on that, fans focus on the line where he takes a shot at Superman by saying "The last time you inspired someone was when you were dead." Even in Tower of Babel (or JL Doom), instead of focusing on the fact that Batman's security is so shit that villains broke into it and stole the weaknesses of the top heroes of the world, they focus on the line where Batman is calling the League braindead morons. Hell, in Batman vs Superman movie, where Batman is 100% in the wrong, people once again focus on his one-liner "You're not brave. Men are brave." The TL;DR is basically that Batman has world-ending dumb moments too. It's just that the story itself doesn't focus on his mistake, whereas it 100% focuses on Superman whenever he makes a world-ending mistake.
@@WebbedManiac Well that's just people being braindead idiots. I caught Batman being wrong on first watches. The story does entirely focus on it as much as Superman when he makes a mistake, the difference is that these idiots on the internet hate Superman so much they will do their best to slander him to make Batman look better. That is a level of insanity and stupidty that no other DC fan does. You don't see Superman fans making videos attacking Batman. Insecure losers, and I'm a batman fan myself but I can admit that batfans are stupid people.
@@natereacts312 According to them Batman could also easily take down the entire Justice League, ignoring the fact that according to Batman himself the Justice league is HIS contingency. In other Words Batman thinks that the justice League will be able to defeat him if he goes bad.
The writers do Superman dirty because Superman is very intelligent but at the same time he’s very optimistic and hopeful so at times that can get the best of him but the versions of Superman I know won’t do anything that could possibly get his team killed. Btw it’s very easy to bring back Wonder Woman because most versions she’s made out of Clay and that’ll most likely happen in a later DLC for SSKTJL.
Knowing that Clark’s full-time job is being an investigative journalist, it makes more sense for him to be intelligent and acutely aware of potential danger. Optimism and distrust of danger are two concepts that aren’t mutually exclusive, and Superman (without massively nerfing his intelligence) would not just trust that Brainiac wasn’t on Earth without ill intent
People often forget that superman is genuinely a smart guy. He has photographic memory, build the fortress of solitude, reverse engineered alien tech, build a super computer and robots. Apparently he's also good at black smithing and forging weapons and tools. You know if any superhero were to have contingency plans to fight other superhumans it would arguably be Superman. But that's a spicy take.
@@curiousguyontheinternet9023 I have feeling batman has the meta human ability of nerfing other people intelligence so that he makes himself smarter and the only people who would be immune to this power are blue beetle, the atom and Mr. Terrific and maybe the question.
Okay, so a few things. 1 - Injustice Superman is a terrible example, since he's an alternate version of the character. One that is different enough to make the choices he did. Baseline Clark would probably not... you know, become a dictator. 2 - I know you're a casual, I'm not so deep into comics like some people, but most people tend to think "Superman is just a himbo and boring and Batgod can defeat anyone with preptime". That is... False, Superman has always had a Hercules type balance of brain and brawn, using clever thinking to gather where he should apply his strength and executing that in a solution. Sure, Batman has a whole computer and a scientific level knowledge of chemistry, biology, escapology... But to Superman's credit, he did answer the unanswerable riddle of the Sphinx, so that's a W 3 - It's... Kinda ironic that you show clips from Justice League Action, because they had an episode that had Superman on a Red-sun planet, without powers, with a broken leg, and still winning against troops from Apokolyps through luck and wit. 4 - SS:KJL is terribly written. And you seem to be basing your entire video on that... Yeah... That's not a good representation of the character.... Or any others. Though he does have a point, they dont know who Brainiac is and where he's from. Maybe the ship isn't a skull to intimidate, maybe it's just how they look. Like a human building a ship that looks like a giant head. Or maybe it's supposed to resemble a God. You can't just assume that something is a threat without context like that Those... Arent really points of criticism, because I know the Internet is butthurt when you comment something negative. But yeah, some things from me.
Brotha...there are thousands of different superman, not all are dumb in decision making but saying that stuff is a terrible example because it's an alternative version doesn't make much sense
@@ComicCasualVideos Still, it is a rather specific and isolated example.... Also I did say that I didn't mean to critique personally... But whaddya know, it's the internet...
@@ComicCasualVideosit kind of does. Why are you solely trashing on Superman when Batman has done the same exact thing? Does that mean Batman should never make the decisions to? That’s the logic your using here.

I’m still baffled the writers really love to dick ride Batman and trying to make him always have the spotlight. I’d like for once to have a modern adaptation where they show Superman’s real actual potential. My man is smart enough to do Brian surgery with his laser vision alone or being able to remake an advanced machine with his memory alone. Clark is the heart of the team but he sure as hell can be the brains of the team sometimes. Let my boy Clark get his braincells back.
@@ComicCasualVideos like Superman is super smart when writers actually care. Look at Superman vs the elite for example and you can see Superman was extremely calculative in the fight so much so you’d almost think the plan came from Batman. Considering Clark can register stuff at super speed. Hell there’s a bunch of impressive stuff Superman has done it can easily be made as a video just to show how badly the suicide squad game fucked not just him over but the entire justice league. He’s super optimistic and that can be a flaw where it makes his judgement iffy but he’s not a moron like people make him out to be.
It's not the writers dickriding batman, it's the videos online that screw up people's idea of the characters. Writers hate Batman too. Batman has screwed up alot and done some really stupid stuff. Batman comics have been crap for years with him always getting his a kicked, Affleck was a joke, and Patterson Batman failed all movie, he jobs with the rest of the League so Superman can solo the threat, but the difference is that no one points it out because people LIKE Batman. Superman is not well liked so his screw ups are highlighted on social media.
Feels like you're downplaying Superman's intelligence. As a Kryptonian empowered by a yellow sun, *every* aspect of him is enhanced massively - including his intellect. He's practically a genius in most of his iterations. That aside, the KTJL is written horrendously--and yes, that argument does work. The writing for most characters and the narrative in general are garbage as it stands.
Squad!Superman: The Reapers aren't evil. They haven't even fired a warning shot Batman: *They're indoctrinating everyone!* Squad!Superman: Oh...let's give the Reapers a talking to
To be fair, most versions of Superman are raised by the Kents, and when you are raised in a farm, sure it does give you character in the sense that you learn to live off the land, and you probably learn about patience and a bunch of other things such as hard work, but being in a farm basically disconnects you from the outside world, which is why Superman is meant to be naive and the " big blue boy scout", because he had to live a sheltered life until he became a man and then moved to Metropolis, and while living in Metropolis and struggling is where you could say he finally started developing, which is why he was taken as a fool so many times, and its why despite him always trying to have the best of intentions, it is that naive and kind heart of his that is always taken advantage of, and its the reason why Superman is one of the heroes that wishes the most to just be a regular person, because in many times he just feels like he doesn't live to the responsibility that his powers basically require, and if given the choice he would gladly give up his powers as he has done many times, until he realizes that the world does need a Superman and then he comes back, because his good nature just likes to help people and believes in the best out of everyone. The people that do not understand this character are the writers, because things such as the Injustice Superman should have never existed, unless it was a Superman that was raised by someone else than the Kents or something, such as the Red Son story and a couple of elseworld stories, because the real Superman has been through a lot of stuff, far worse than what happened to the Injustice Superman, but he didn't snap like the Injustice version because as he always says there is always a way, and he will always figure out a way to make the save in the end, and that is what makes him Superman, but I do agree that maybe someone else should be making the decisions, since in many cases Superman has allowed for danger to be a threat, just because he has underestimated it due to his overconfidence and then later regrets his actions, but in a way that does make him more human despite his alien heritage, than most of his buddies that when they get powers such as Batman, they let it fully go to their head and do a bunch of crazy stuff, that then ends up in him having to be stopped for his own good.
Yeah but Superman isn’t naive enough to look at a large intimidating ship and be friendly. He’s incredibly intelligent, his own job even requires him to be smart. Most writers just simply make him stupid for no reason, they think he’s all brawn and no brain.
God imagine if this superman was the one in GvKvJL XD "Clark there is a giant monster close to metropolis" "Calm down maybe its peacefull" "Clark its destroying metropolis" "Its probably just accidents due to its size"

Don't mistake terrible writing and bad portrayals from people who know nothing about the characters with the character itself. Canon Superman is one of the smartest beings in the Universe He's optimistic, not stupid like in these "adaptations"
I'm still here thinking: The Lasso of Truth as the ability to break mind control. Why doesn't Wonder Woman just use her lasso? Oh, right, dumb writers. Can you please read a good Superman comic, like "All-Star Superman" or "Superman: Birthright" before claiming he's a boring character. Watch "Superman vs. The Elites" too.
If Lana Lang is in the Injustice Universe, would’ve she help put Clack/Superman on the right path away from Wonder Woman’s toxicity/control? They are childhood sweethearts at one time in the comics so it would make a lot of sense that his path to redemption would be rough one but worth it when Darksied comes to invade Earth again to avenge the death of his son Kalibak. Even though Grodd did mentions her and we have yet to know if she is still around, Lana would’ve help Superman overcome his grief and give Superman a bit chance to change his heart to make him more of an anti-villain by making the ultimate sacrifice. You got to remember that Superman is the most human character in the comic book history. NetherRealm Studio should take note from this comment
For every poor decision making Superman, there is another which is smart: Main comic Superman Superman The animated series/ Justice League Superman Batman/Superman Brave and the Bold Superman Red Son All Star Superman To name a few. And let's not pretend now Batman has not had his fair share of poorly written versions as well: All Star Batman Suicide Squad game Batman (a complete mockery of him and every member of the JL) The Problem I find with Injustice is that, the story is created from the start to give Batman ways out of being defeated, that he really shouldn't, it feels like it was written with a very anti-Superman slice to it. And the every all powerful 'prep time' excuse used by die hard fans gets tiring after a while, because not all his plans work out and it seems his 'contingency plans' for his own rogue gallery don't seem to work half the time either, so I can't see how all his plans for the Justice League would work as well. In reality Batman is more likely the one to crack and go all rogue and tyrant, than Superman is. We never get one of those stories.
The better questioned I wonder while watching walkthroughs of this game, where was Aquaman, Hal Jordan, Green Arrow and Martian Manhunter during all this?
Yea they make it sound these guys were all we got of Justice League like what did they not met Aquaman and the other big major characters like Captain Marvel or Captain Atom?@@MaigenMaylight

No one takes the universal act of war as it is, and no one certainly not the space cop green lantern who should know his shit knows his shit. It's an idiot plot to let the suicide squad be useful at all. It's not helpful or fair. Like how no one talks about how taking using yellow lanterns as bad morals but ignore batman literally embodying the philosophy of order through fear of the disobedient populace. Injustice super man doesn't make stupid decisions he makes crazy nonsense we have to character Assinate the idea of Super Man being the world boss even though he's about as smart or far smarter and more empathetic than any we actually have.
Well yeah, but that movie kind of was a no win situation. If darkside had an army like that, what could they do? If that army invaded the earth, it could have the same result
You're right, they would most likely lose anyway, but Superman rejected any input from the League suggesting a recon, including Luthor, Flash and Constantine. Also, his plan was "hold the parademons while I kill Darkside". He actually thought it'd be that easy to kill Darkside and that he could do it by himself. There was probably no plan that could save them from the paradooms, but that doesn't justify Superman's awful excuse for a plan
@@gustavoshigueo which makes me wonder why didn't he invaded earth after he assembled his paradooms army? Granted we don't know how long it took for him to make it. But yeah, this whole thing of superman been depicted as super naive is stupid, he's not dumb like that. I would give him a discount on the apocaklipse war movie due to the events of the previous movies and he may have acted recklessly in there because of said events, and because it was a lost situation anyway.
I think Darkside had just finished creating the paradooms, hence the spy drone things he launched in the beginning of the movie. Which, again shows how much smarter than Superman Darkside is: he knows he is much more powerful than any member of the League, he knows there's no way they can defeat the paradooms, but still he sends a recon mission and spies on the League's reaction to that recon mission. I also agree with your other point. Superman died only a couple movies before, that could make him angry and careless, but he knew Darkside created Doomsday and at no point did he think "Damn, that thing killed me, Darkside is probably gonna make more of those things". That never crossed his mind, the League expected only regular parademons when they really should be expecting an army of Doomsday (not the paradooms, there's no way they'd know about those without doing recon)
Considering lex luthor: man of steel and the dark knight 3 showed just how smart Superman can be. I frankly think there needs to be required reading when you write for dc’s A&B list.
@@ComicCasualVideos when you make the video I advise looking up Superman’s (pile of skulls)speech to ultraman in trinity. It gives an interesting perspective on the no-killing rule.
When writers don’t actually understand Superman, we get casuals like this channel saying things like “Superman should never be allowed to make decisions.”
Something that not a lot of people have noticed about Injustice Superman is that while Wonder Woman pushed him into becoming a tyrant, he actually became something uncontrollable that she didn't intend to create. As an example, in the comics Superman went absolute psycho mode and tried to kill Flash after he saved Batman, even when Wonder Woman and other League members tried to stop him. In the movie this was shown at the end when Superman was going to kill the Insurgency despite Wonder Woman's protests and attacked her, maybe even trying to kill her. Let's not forget when he torched the Joker Clan and tried to cover it all up. Wonder Woman may have pushed him in some ways, but he still made a lot of bad decisions on his own without her direct influence.
I don’t get why Batman even went along with it. We’ve a number of times in other media/stories where the league makes a questionable decision, Batman then basically calls them stupid and refuses to be part of it. This isn’t even an inexperienced Batman, Arkham Batman has about 18 years of experience in universe.
Batman has done alot of stupid things. You don’t know this character at all. Batman also lead the league into Darkseid’s trap in the Justice League series. Why aren’t you talking about that?
I think the plot should have been like this The justice league suddenly attack metropolis Waller sends the squad. The twist is that they are actually the crime syndicate disguised as the justice league
You know what's crazy is that Superman decision in kill the Justice League actually resulted everybody including Arkham Batman to get captured and basically disrespected honestly I just have so many questions about the story including the fact that he came out of hiding despite the fact everybody knows who he is like why did he do it it's just going to result in everybody chasing you now including your family but I don't know this game story is a mess
I'm surprised you didn't mention the Superman from Justice League: Apokolips War. That idiot got played and served his Justice League up on a silver plater to Darkseid.
The amount of bad plans batman has made out scales Superman’s by dozens. Batman has done so many things that have gotten the justice league into traps or tons of people killed that it’s insane. For example Superman told Batman not to trust darkseid In the dcau and he proceeds to be egoistical and unsympathetic and gets the league into a trap. So many more examples including comics, animation and live action yet you Batman fans never mention it because y’all love to trash Superman. Superman isn’t even an idiot either just a victim of bad writing
In jl tas superman refused to go with Darkseid or accept his invitation to ally himself with darkseid to save his planet from brainiac. While the others pressure him to accept it since innocent lives are at risk. He sends batman and wonder woman to new genisys to bring orion as a backup. And how does the episode and batman treat superman after he had the foresight to plan ahead? He berates superman, tells him to 'cry me a river' and whines about how he should never let superman make a decision again. No matter what he does, superman be damned.
Ngl They just made Superman an idiot in Suicide Squad. He became too much of a bleeding heart. Like this might be a prime example of 'Plot-induced Stupidity'. I'd think most other Superman would hear out his teams concerns especially since basically only GL backed him from the start, his descion was kind of outvoiced by Batman, Wonder Woman and Flash. Like I still think he'd choose a Diplomatic approach, but he would allow Batman, WW and whoever else come up with a contingency plan to fall back to if things went South. Cause at the end of the day I'd think Supes would trust his team to have his back if Diplomacy fails.
I doubt superman would put the whole league in risk just like that. If a giant spaceship appeared he would talk to the league and then go alone or at least leave some members behind in case something goes south, i mean any member of the Justice league should be able to at least think of that. The injustice Superman ideia was not tottally wrong at the beggining, but when he went too far the others should had intervined, he may not be on his right mind but those who followed him are even worse
Another strong example is Justice League Dark: Apokolips war where Supes convinced the league to go attack Darkseid and lead them to death, capture, mind-conteol and slavery.
I mean, it definetly depends on the version of Superman. There's plenty of smart versions of him and stupid ones, just like there's plenty of even batman versions that are stupid. I also don't really think people who don't read superman a lot should judge him on the injustice games because, love those games, they don't represent a lot of things well. Like, at all.
You wanna know a scarier evil Superman? Justice League Animated Series: Lord Superman. Watch the first 3 minutes and you'll see just how evil this mad man truly is
Superman is not dumb. It's just that he's not the smartest guy in the room, he's more naive, good person and that he's way more emotionally driven, which makes him more reckles than Batman. The problem is that when Superman makes a mistake, the consequences are dramatic because you make big decisions on a map. Batman is the smartest, and he's always calculating, thinking of plan B, plan C, plan B.2, etc. When you compare it to Batman, Superman looks not as bright. But that was the team up magic, Superman was the muscle, and Batman was the brain.
I don't think that Superman is dumb at all but in almost every single movie or game adaptation of him as a character makes him seem that way. He's an optimist but not clueless, he's completely different in the comics compared to the films
Superman's Decision Making: Comic Casual, you’ve opened up a fascinating can of worms with your video “Superman Should NEVER Be Allowed To Make Decisions.” It’s a provocative title that certainly grabs attention! You’re right in pointing out that the Multiverse has shown us many versions of Superman, and not all of them have a stellar track record when it comes to decision-making. Take, for example, the Superman from “Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League.” His portrayal as a mind-controlled antagonist certainly doesn’t do him any favors in the wisdom department. Then there’s the Injustice Superman, who, driven by grief and anger, becomes a tyrant. These iterations highlight a Superman who, when faced with extreme circumstances, can make some questionable choices. However, it’s also important to remember that Superman is often depicted as the moral compass of the Justice League and a symbol of hope. There are numerous instances across various media where Superman’s decisions have led to positive outcomes. For instance, in the animated series “Justice League Unlimited,” Superman’s leadership and decision to trust his teammates often save the day. In the comics, particularly in storylines like “All-Star Superman,” we see a Superman who is thoughtful, introspective, and makes sacrifices for the greater good. Your point is well-taken, though. Superman, like any character with immense power, should perhaps be more of a team player rather than a sole decision-maker. It’s a balance that writers and creators have been exploring for years, and it’s what makes the character so enduring and intriguing. As for examples of Superman making good decisions, let’s not forget about the times he’s chosen to spare his enemies instead of resorting to violence, or when he’s used his powers to avert natural disasters without any collateral damage. These actions show a Superman who is not only powerful but also wise and compassionate. In conclusion, while there are certainly examples of Superman’s poor decision-making, there are just as many, if not more, examples of him being a beacon of good judgment. It’s this complexity that keeps fans coming back for more. And yes, I did enjoy your rant! It’s always refreshing to see passionate fans engage with these iconic characters. Keep the videos coming, and I’ll be sure to leave a like, subscribe, and drop more suggestions for future content. 👍🦸♂️🌟
Batman is more smarter than this situation. He knows how to make better choices not Superman. Now look at them in the game they’re all dead and I doubt the game won’t finish cause of its reception
Another way to fix Suicide Squad Kills the Justice League -Don't reveal how the Justice League got capture or have those Wonder Woman tapes. Just say they fought against Brainiac and he overpowered and captured them.
Characters I would trust to make a plan Batman, Cheetah, Lex Luthor & Wonder Woman. Characters I would NOT TRUST to make a plan the Joker & Superman...
Even if the justice league attacked brainiac he would have still captured them and took control of their minds because 5 members were just not enough because if they had a view more members like the martian manhunter, cyborg, aquaman, green arrow and black canary, black lightning, shazam ,Hawkman and hawkgirl, supergirl, mr terrific and vixen and a few magical heroes like zatanna,dr fate, john Constantine and his justice league dark team and maybe there allies the teen titans and other human green lanterns like hal Jordan, guy gardener, Kyle and Jessica cruz maybe the brainiac invasion would have been stopped a whole lot sooner and the justice league deaths would have been prevented because wonder woman doing all by herself to try and save her fellow justice leaguers and fighting off brainiac forces was just too much for her to handle
It isn't just Superman who has been dumbed down. It's the entire League who look like idiots. If Batman and Wonder Woman had reservations about Superman's plans, then they would have had contingency plans in place to protect the Earth should things go left. TBH, I have a problem with any member of the League who would agree with Superman if Batman raised objections.
Two examples of Superman being written wildly out of character to stretch the limit for VIDEO GAME narratives (one flimsy and one garbage), and a comic from 1954. Yeah I'd Superman is fine
Remember in one of the animated movies, Superman leads the JL to invade Apokolips unprepared which lead to most of them being enslaved, Superman to lose his powers, Zatanna dead and the destruction of Earth
I don't think it's fair to use SSKTJL or Injustice as examples for Superman making terrible choices, or at least singling him out, when almost everyone in those games make awful decisions. Batman made bad calls in all three of these continuities too.
There's also Justice League Apocalypse War where Superman convinces the Justice League to go to Apocalypse and fight Darkseid on his own turf. That does not turn out well for the Justice League. So yeah Superman shouldn't make decisions like this.
Superman can be done well, its just a shame we haven't seen that in decades. JLU superman was fun. He had to struggle with making the right choice. Hell he made mistakes from time to time. Such a shame.
Ik the clone theory wasn't a focus on this video but... Even if they were all clones, Clark still killed WW. So if they're clones and the real ones get freed, Superman's gonna have to live with that guilt of "him" killing his friend. Even though it was temporary
Yes, in most continuities she's made of clay. That, and being the daughter of Zeus gives her immortality; She cannot die indefinitely in a violent way.
@@MaigenMaylight well I've learned something new today thanks to you. I'll remove the part where she's screwed cause at the very least Clark will still feel guilty for sending her back to the lobby 😂

Let's also not forget about the animated movie universe superman declaring war on darkseid getting pretty much every one killed and creating hell on earth
Awesome Video Bro! You know people would think Superman wouldn't need to make that many decisions. Since people keep saying that Superman is the strongest, most powerful, and so on. When we know that's a lie. He has a lot of weaknesses. Kryptonite, Red Sun, Magic. Why else did Batman beat his ass in Injustice 2? And why Sub Zero, Scorpion, Shang Tsung, and Raiden were able to beat him in MK Vs DCU.
Batman was enhanced by 5U93R. And if you're talking about the opening fight in Arkham Asylum - Batman detonated a Red Solar grenade near Superman to dampen his powers. Superman isn't weak to magic -- he's vulnerable to it. There's a difference. The MK characters can damage Superman because plot. Don't be a 🤡
They are most certainly not the same thing. Superman is *weak* to Kryptonite; It'll cause him to feel exhausted and in some cases physically harm him just by being near it. Prolonged exposure to it results in death. Superman is *vulnerable* to magic; He won't be instantly incapacitated by it like the effect that Kryptonite has, but it still can deal damage to him. And while it's true that some Mortal Kombat characters use Magic - there are some that do not yet can still damage Superman: Kano, Sonia Blade, Johnny Cage, etc.
You know Omni Man is playable in MK1. And you can have anyone you want beat him. and I've seen that Superman can beat him. And someone who definitely can beat Superman is Geras. Since no matter how many times to beat him he always comes back. And with every death and rebirth he only gets stronger.
I'm not entirely sure what point you're trying to make here. Superman could just chuck Geras into the Phantom Zone and it's wraps. But don't forget that they basically chained Geras to the sea floor in MK11 to beat him. A fairly miserable defeat for such a powerful character.

I would argue recent DC are not a good standard of writing anymore, seen the state of their comics recently? A trash fire.
So are you going to do an episode where Batman almost got the League killed by trusting Darkseid where Superman was the one in the right?
DC approved the Justice League episode where Batman led the team into Darkseid’s trap despite Superman telling them otherwise. So I guess Batman is officially an idiot now.
I hate it when writers portray Superman as an idiot. He’s meant to be an optimist, not a moron.
Heck, there’s even been times he’s been quite pessimistic. Just look at any story where Lex Luthor is running for president.

And why most versions he’s the Leader
True but not everyone likes his methods. Especially putting the mission first over the fate and trust to other leaguers. And this what led Jason Todd to become the Red Hood. His obsession to the mission is also Batman’s downfall.
Whenever he makes a plan it usually works out, and one of the reasons why he earned his place in the justice league without powers
Knowledge is power. And Batman has that.

Yet apparently only Superman is dumb according to the uploader. Sucks how much DC has gone downhill and so has the fans.
@@marvel0973 Thing is, whenever Batman is wrong, fans don't focus on it because they're too busy focusing on his badass one-liners and jabs at his teammates which he uses to cover up his mistakes.
Like my above two examples, where Batman is wrong on both accounts, but fans focus more on his lines
-> "We know he used you, humiliated you, and threw you away like trash. Cry me a river."
-> "Maybe spend more time on the streets instead of flying over them"
You want more examples? In Final Crisis, Batman creates an Orwellian spy system called Brother Eye which falls into the hands of his enemies and becomes a threat to the world. Instead of focusing on that, fans focus on the line where he takes a shot at Superman by saying "The last time you inspired someone was when you were dead."
Even in Tower of Babel (or JL Doom), instead of focusing on the fact that Batman's security is so shit that villains broke into it and stole the weaknesses of the top heroes of the world, they focus on the line where Batman is calling the League braindead morons.
Hell, in Batman vs Superman movie, where Batman is 100% in the wrong, people once again focus on his one-liner "You're not brave. Men are brave."
The TL;DR is basically that Batman has world-ending dumb moments too. It's just that the story itself doesn't focus on his mistake, whereas it 100% focuses on Superman whenever he makes a world-ending mistake.
I hated those moments in animation. Batman comes across as arrogant and downplays sups horrific moment.

@@ComicCasualVideos Nice!
Damien would definitely caught a 50-piece combo at some point 😂
But to Superman's credit, he did answer the unanswerable riddle of the Sphinx, so that's a W
3 - It's...
You can't just assume that something is a threat without context like that
Those... Arent really points of criticism, because I know the Internet is butthurt when you comment something negative. But yeah, some things from me.

That’s the first time someone I’ve ever seen someone brought up Lana that’s a very good point
For every poor decision making Superman, there is another which is smart:

And let's not pretend now Batman has not had his fair share of poorly written versions as well:
All Star Batman

The Problem I find with Injustice is that, the story is created from the start to give Batman ways out of being defeated, that he really shouldn't, it feels like it was written with a very anti-Superman slice to it.
And the every all powerful 'prep time' excuse used by die hard fans gets tiring after a while, because not all his plans work out and it seems his 'contingency plans' for his own rogue gallery don't seem to work half the time either, so I can't see how all his plans for the Justice League would work as well.

So many more examples including comics, animation and live action yet you Batman fans never mention it because y’all love to trash Superman.

Superman making decisions in this game made no sense especially with him not knowing who branuac is.
And that’s why Batman should be the leader. He’s always crazy prepared for all sorts of fate of the world businesses
Another way to fix Suicide Squad Kills the Justice League
-Don't reveal how the Justice League got capture or have those Wonder Woman tapes. Just say they fought against Brainiac and he overpowered and captured them.
People who don’t read comics should not be allowed to make videos on comic book characters
Characters I would trust to make a plan Batman, Cheetah, Lex Luthor & Wonder Woman.
Characters I would NOT TRUST to make a plan the Joker & Superman...
don't forget justice league dark apokalips war
I don’t understand why Batman, Wonder Woman and Flash were the only ones who actually thought this through.
In Justile League Apokolips War, His idea to charge into Apokolipse is what made eveythibg go down hill
I call it Hermoine effect, they make Supes dumb to make Batman look good.
i fell like lego dc supervillians handle this "evil" justice league better then suicide squad kill the justice league.
I don't think it's fair to use SSKTJL or Injustice as examples for Superman making terrible choices, or at least singling him out, when almost everyone in those games make awful decisions. Batman made bad calls in all three of these continuities too.
In that animated DC movie universe in the last decade, it is a bad plan from Superman that screws everyone over
You forget what superman did to the league & earth in Justice League Dark Apokolips War 🪦
Who is the artist of your thumbnails?
we needed a "more or less" counter this video lmaoo
How's Wonder Woman screwed? She's just going to re-form after awhile; She's not dead forever 💀
@@MaigenMaylight she can do that? it's never been implied in games or TV as far as I know and I don't read comics
Kill the justes league should have been batman form the justes league were brainac controls the members of the league before they join the team and the reason they lost was due to fighting brainac alone so bat man goes around saving each member of the league to form a team to fight brainac.
Let's also not forget about the animated movie universe superman declaring war on darkseid getting pretty much every one killed and creating hell on earth
Ah.. The tape about "that skull ship hasn't done anything".. Yet....
It's stupid......
I would have mentioned Justice League Dark: Apokolips War
Don't be a 🤡
Weak, Vulnerable? Same thing. And the MK Characters use magic. So they can beat him.
Justice league dark Superman going to apocalypse with no plan. Superman tan to make mainly man I can punch my way out decision
Lore of Superman Should NEVER Be Allowed To Make Decisions Momentum 100
What do you think of the injustice comics ?🤔
I haven't read them all but I am currently doing so
@@ComicCasualVideos I think you'll like them.
@@ComicCasualVideosa few years ago ,I couldn't afford them so just watched the comicstorian videos
He isn't dumb, he's naive
