How To Add A Signature To Any Document On Mac (Word doc, Pages)

Signing a document on a Mac could be difficult. If you are using pages or Microsoft Word, signing that document is not as easy as it should be.
Luckily, there is a super easy shortcut. You can simply take a screenshot of a blank area, open that screenshot on preview and add a digital signature by either using trackpad or using your camera.

I did this al for 8 years ago?? But I made a PNG file and put it in to a document.
So I always can put it over text or the datum.
Oke I did it to write on White paper with Black and later I select the White and cut it out and safe as PNG.
But you have nice video's

Annoying that you pin videos over the screen at the end, preventing viewers from seeing how you resize the image. I also experienced an inability to shrink the image below a certain size, and am confounded by the seemingly immovable caption box beneath the image. Any advice on shrinking the image and removing the caption box?

I previously saved my signature on my Mac but I have erased them from being stored-due to security concerns. I think it is safer to make a new signature each time one is needed & then delete when done.

Wouldn't do this if you are not printing or sending it in form of pdf. If you send the straight word document, anyone can copy that signature since it's a pic added to the document

you can actually do it directly in word, just next time choose DRAW in the menu and then click on "draw with trackpad" and do the same exact thing but directly in the document. Way easier than screenshotting white space and opening up a new document to do it.

There is a better and faster way! Convert the document to a PDF and then you click the markup icon in the toolbar. You will then have the option to insert or create a signature.
