3 star recruit. He grew up as a military brat and played his freshman year of football in Italy. He later moved to Texas, where he mostly played WR until his senior year, when he moved to RB full time.

I’m pretty sure junior year after the season he went to BSU they offered on the spot a few reps into his workout and even though he got big offers after he was like I already committed and am going to stay loyal.
He also had to split the backfield as a number 2 running back for BSU until this year but didn’t even question the transfer portal.
      He definitely has character

Man you wonder what made him come to Boise? Same as all the Boise greats, he was overlooked by big recruiters and took his chance on the blue and showed some sincere loyalty and came back to up hold the Boise tradition of CRUSHING the opposition.
    Bleed blue.

He's a beast in the weight room also. They say the trainers have to hold him back in there. You can tell by the way he sheds off players.

I have to say at 3:22, where you point out the way he set's standing there, that is a great observation that most miss. I have been watching college ball for 50 years and give you real credit for some of the details you pick up on. Keep up the good work.

I live in Boise and we’ve been talking for awhile how seeing him just stand back there makes him even more ominous and opposing for the defense

Seeing him live is amazing! His cuts and speed are just simply unbelievable. You hear people saying they are not wrapping up…but when you watch him he is so fast and strong, he’s like vapor in their hands - he’s gone! 2-3 star recruit behind some very good players at Lone Star High School in Texas.

Players come to Boise because we know untapped talent when we see it. The only reason CFB has a playoff today is because of Boise State.

After they play UNLV , the remaining games should be 200 plus yard games for him. His stats are going to improve immensely. He is only statistically tied in Heisman trophy points because of a bi-week.

24/7 bumped him from a 3 to a 4 star at the end of his senior season of HS, although composite ratings still had him as a 3-star. (Lead the nation in TDs his senior year of HS I believe)

Also he’s very religious and overall stays out of trouble so if that doesn’t change you know distractions won’t be the reason he fails

I’m not sure after this past weekends game but prior if you took his total yards rushing after contact he’d have the 3-4 most rushing yards in the country

They dominated the game against #2 Oregon. They lost on a literal last second field goal, after giving up 2 special teams TDs during the game. Offense? Beat the Ducks. Defense? Beat the Ducks. Special Teams? Lol whoops.
Still, they have all the hallmarks of any other top 10 team in the country this year with Jeanty, and I think you're going to see some surprises this year in the playoff regardless.
