I have just finished my little goat. He is so cute! I found that I could virtually eliminate the gaps around the legs in the attachment round by pulling up a loop in the last stitch of the round and pulling up a loop in the space next to the last stitch and then completing a single crochet. Maybe this will work for someone else.
