The Desolate Hope- Secret Boss
Вставка
- Опубліковано 2 тра 2012
- This is the fight against the secret boss in The Desolate Hope. To fight him, beat the game then access the Battle Simulator back at the station. Instead of being pitted against the Target Dummy as usual, you'll go up against Dummy's Revenge!
Dummy's Revenge doesn't have any special attacks, he just one-shots your characters on a regular basis. Use a combination of Malenz's "Quick Repair" and Mirad's "Revive" to keep the team alive, while using Bio-Beta's "Duplicity" to increase your dodge chance. He is immune to slow and stun, and you can't hack his stats, so just focus on dodging and reviving. Proto-Wall can deflect the hits, and using Blindness will work for a few seconds which is just enough to dodge one hit.
Also, keeping the minigames active is important to provide a steady stream of bar refills. Set the minigames to provide speed and attack power, since defense and life refills will be useless. - Ігри

There is a way to get the icy Derelict. ;) During the night phase, collect items as quickly as you can. You can get a total of six items each night before the sparkles disappear. After you've delivered all six, quickly go back outside and run left to the far edge of the map. There will be one sparkle left! This is a wrench. Take the wrench to the icy Derelict and it will break loose a microchip. After you have done this, there is a chance that the icy Derelict "Amos" will appear in battle.
Scott, this game is amazing! You should make The Desolate Abondon after Custom Night for FFPS! It's great to put FNaF away and get back to The Desolate Hope to continue the amazing adventure of Coffee(aka the best character ever made)!
Wow it looks great Scott
Wait.. WAIT THIS IS GIVING ME MEMORIES OF FNAF!!!!!
WOW! This game looks real good
Thanks for the tip
holy shit , that retro artstyle and music
Yes indeed
:l
I do this to every comment with 1 to 5 replies
JESUS HOW IS SCOTT NOT CONFUSED SO MUCH STUFF IS HAPPENING AT THE SAME TIME
LOL, looks like u took that picture of nightmare on ur phone lmao. 😂
yes I tryed downloading it... it did not work so I have to take a picture

Genius
He's the literal creator of the game
He would know everything about his own game
Did Scott design these bosses?? If so then the man has an insane eye for character design, these are out of this world
Couldn't agree more, the character designs are something else. One of the bots reminds me of Ennard, the one with the best design in all fnaf games in my opinion.
Do you mean viren?
That boss for in particular was very hard to beat but also fun and when putting ennard, the daycare attendant side by side you can the inspiration that lead to their creations from viren.
Sorry for the long comment btw😅
@@whygosh3217 oh no, I meant Mirad but yeah, Viren might be an inspiration for sundrop
@@mras3715 Really?, I see puppet more with Mirad with the mask and I just saying ennard have similar bodies and eye colors. Sorry I I confused you 😅
@@whygosh3217 yeah I see ennard more because of the white masks and the wires, but yeah I see what your saying 👍
The only issue i have with this is game,is that i can't tell what the hell is happening during battles xDD
Get the game and learn it:) It's actually very complex, but you can get the hang of it after a while.

stefan dumi My god. This isn’t fucking Reddit.
Thats the point
This battle UI is one of the most unique I’ve seen in a turn based rpg. So much energy coveyed in what is essentially a screen where you select items from a menu
I'm impressed by the quality of the robots sprites, they have so much details
So I have just finished the game - awesome. The finish made me cry, so nice story.
I cannot believe that this amazing game was created only by one person. Wow...

Scott Cawthon. The one dev who reveals his secrets.
TELL ME YOUR SECRETS. XD
not anymore = _=
Well, things changed quickly-
This aged well
Hey, lets all shut the hell up about Fnaf and talk about this awesome game that needs a sequel now.
Please make a sequel Scott...
1downpoison Ya right
1downpoison fnaf is great but seriously Scott old games are pure underrated
DONT TELL ME TO SHUT UP 🖕 YOU BICHT
Ahmillion dixon That sounds attention whorish and dickish. Might want to step off and also learn how to spell "bicht".
Yee
I have to say after beating the game two times, this is probably the best game you've made until this date. Nice job Scott, I hope you give this gem a sequel.
Edit: It's November of 2015 and I still think this is one of the best you've made.
In FNaF 3 newspaper saying it burns down you can see Scott says he might make a sequel or another series like FNAF
I know.
***** I'm talking about a history sequel, The Desolate Hope is a re-imagined of The Desolate Room.
***** Yeah I told you that.
But he's too busy blowing the FNAF Community
It looks like a cyber-punk Earthbound
My thoughts exactly!
it also looks like a futuristic Deathsmiles
Lmao
Scott is such an amazing programer... sadly, he'll only be remembered by FNAF, and none of his other games.
I feel ashamed for that...
In my opinion this is tons better than fnaf. Though I do have high hopes for fnaf world
Noko no not really, when fnaf end he's making a new series and has hinted at a sequel for this game
Fnaf is the mario for scott
Why do you guys keep on saying that, like he is only remembered by FNAF because FNAF was the best game series he made
holy shit now this is a proper VIDEO GAME
That profile pic, definately hentai, but what video/picture? Plz tell meh
Just look up "ahegao".
This is the greatest fucking Christan game ever.
But it's about robot
Alkin Wong "But it's about robot"
-Plato, 376 BC
Wat?!
Alkin Wong There's actually some stuff (well, more than 'some', but spoilers) about the sanctity of human life later on in the game. It touches on a lot of philosophical subjects, actually.
The entire thing reminds me of Waiting for Godot (which also has some genuinely interesting, non-preachy Christian undertones), with the mysterious Sample 217 as Godot, the player as the messenger boy, and the four crazy old robots as the four crazy old men.
Please do not use Christian and fuck in the same sentence. Oh wait................ FOCK!!!
This game is for people that really loved JRPG-style battles, apparently.
Also, holy sensory overload, batman!
Man, Scott’s old games were cool. I do appreciate that he hasn’t completely abandoned the characters, like Coffee and Chipper being in Fnaf World or Coffee being in Help Wanted. Still though.
TOUHOU. THAT'S WHAT YOU'VE DONE. YOU'VE TAKEN TOUHOU AND SOMEHOW TURNED IT INTO A TURN BASED STRATEGY GAME WITHOUT THE "TURN-BASED" PART!
XD yup i was thinking the same
Despite what most people see, the game is surprisingly simple, it's just that this is the hardest fight in the game.
But it's not as hard :(
Don't forget the robots too.
Wtf is “touhou”?
SO MUCH S**T IS HAPPENING AT THE SAME TIME!!
*died*
LOL
obiously,because you're a TDH fan!
Now THIS...
...Is a fuckin' video game.
After I downloaded this game and tried it out...
Holy balls deep I fell on love with this game! Sure, the fighting elements seem really confusing. But once you begin to learn them...YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH IT. Every fight literally makes your butt clench and butt clench with all quick thinking and strategizing...and holy crap the music! Seriously...Scott you've outdone yourself before FNaF. I'm handing it to you I really hope one day you make another one of these...seriously am I the only one who loves this game?
And the STORY is the most creative I've ever seen! I'm not gonna spoil it because YOU need to try it out. And I love the platformer parts as well...
Really underrated comment. Just like the game.
Thank you scott for making an amazing franchise and being a very amazing person, I hope you enjoy your retirement

I LOVE the design of this Boss..
Damn, these models are impressive even today! It almost makes me sad we haven't seen anythinh like these from the FNAF series (though the designs there are debatably even better, though I must say I prefer the realism in these designs, they almost look like miniature sculptures that were digitally scanned for the game, makes me wish the FNAF animatronics had this level of hyper-realism in regards to the texturing of their fur and metal)
What the frack is happening on the screen, Am I having an aneurysm?
HOW ARE YOU NOT KNOWN FOR THIS GAME!? IT LOOKS 20000000 TIMES BETTER THEN FNAF!

Okay comments, we get it, some of you really like to talk bad about FNAF and/or it's community.
But, uh, Scott made this game you just saw, too, so maybe you could respect him enough to take it somewhere else?
Or better yet, not at all? Look. I don't like fanatics. Not in religion, not in politics, and indeed, not in fanbases.
I'd try to talk a hater out of trying. I'd also try to talk a fanboy out of trying. In fact, I've done both.
I'm trying to be in the middle ground. I just wanna play games and enjoy the culture surronding said games.

Woah, the Robot designs here are amazing!
Good job there!
I'm not kidding when I say I get emotional playing this game.

same here Scott is the only reason i started 3d modelling and clickteam fusion coding , cant wait to get my game done and release it on august 8th in honor of him!
I feel kinda bad for Scott because people come to his old videos unrelated to fnaf and still bring it up anyway. I find it quite upsetting he is only know for making FNaF.
Guys, just stop talking about FNaF for now and appreciate what Scott is doing :)
They will talk about it on every video related to Scott Cawthon's games or animations just because they are crazy fans. They will never stop.
@@KorablevTolya Exactly. It pisses me off
Very fine work, Scott.
Please give this absolute masterpiece a sequel.
So, I guess, this is where Scott started learning about making designs of robots for his next project, that would bring him fame and popularity:

@@lunaticmotorstormer how did it go? Any news? Please tell me, I know I'm a year late, but I just need to know.

You should make more games with that crazy-awesome action RPG style. Desolate Hope's virus combat was intense and fun and I want to see more of it.
Nice job Scott love your work
True chad, he actually makes strategies for the fans who struggle in the game.
My senses feel violated after this
I like the style of using minigames to do everything.
Most of my conditionals are charge tweak (which lets me use blindness, cap HP, burn resist down and null charge a LOT with all 4 games up). I also use "on minigame hit > charge tweak" and "on minigame start > autoplay"
Once I get up 4 minigames and 2x defense, I'm unstoppable. Mainly because the opponent can't do squat against me, save for this by and his 8,000 hits. Now I'm working on a more offensive version for him, probably need to charge tweak Attack more.
***** On Take Damage > Charge Tweak.
Let th chaos begin.
Pootisman wouldn't happen as often as On Minigame Hit > Charge tweak
and you wouldn't want to get hit by this particular boss too much.
Just completed the game for the first time and I have to say:
1) Great Job on this!
2) Despite completing the game, I don't recognise about 40% of those attacks...
I WANT A SEQUEL WITH THE REVENGE OF DUMMY'S REVENGE :D
This is a sequel to the desolate room
I WANT A SEQUEL TO CLOROX BLEACH
I bet that guy was inspiration for the boss drain in FNAF world!
This was an awesome game to play Scott thank you very much
This looks fucking amazing
I did not know Scott used to make these games. He has done a great job with FNAF
yeah
Scott, if you're reading this, for the love of all that is good in this universe, please make the combat system in FNaF World very similar to the one in The Desolate Hope. Please.
Yes please. I like the fact that the player has to not only have strategy, but they have to think of it quick. Like real battle. The game doesn't pause for you to think. Act quickly and you do better.
+Shaner Gamer But the game is aimed at kids! lol
+PizzaPie728 Just because it's aimed at kids doesn't mean it won't have a combat system. I mean, if you would look at the Mario RPGs, they have combat systems. And if you think "oh but it will be too complicated for children! lol", I'd like you to note that The Desolate Hope has all of the assets a regular RPG, minus the skills and guarding, but it's more real-time than others.
BlueChilidog I don't mean that RPGs aimed at kids don't have a battle system, what I mean is a timed battle system would be too hard for kids to play.
+PizzaPie728 ...Except this isn't a timed battle system. This is a battle system where the enemy can attack when they want, which I don't count as timed.
Scott, i just say a word. YOUR GAMES ARE COMPLETELY AMAZING! YOU ARE A TOTAL GENIUS OF VIDEO GAMES!
I just realized. This boss theme is the trailer music. Awesome, Scott!
Damn, This game look Awesome as Fuck. Sad it got pushed aside by FNAF. Really hope this is sequel worthy at some point.
Scott, I just wanna say that your video games, your creations... are just so amazing. you are one of the best game developers/creators I have ever seen/known. keep up the good work. *cough* sister location * cough

The characters in this looked pretty dystopian. Like it :)
Excellent models and a fun gameplay , this game was my childhood i used to play it with my dad in his computer , thanks for creating this game.
To be honest, this boss is not as hard as the final boss. I know it has double the health but you know, it doesn't have attacks like Radion Omega! XD
I can't believe that this is a game made by Scott Cawthon, of all people...
Uhm, why?
You uploaded this on my birthday
I had written down the lyrics to one of the songs that isn’t available anymore in my notes long ago- something that had gone “you will never receive this message”- and though I couldn’t remember the exact melody or whatever it’s called, the voice still rung through my head reading the lyrics.
I had to remember where it was from- and a simple “desolate hope” popped up in my bookmarks, and it all came back to me. I still have no idea what’s going on, but it’s still fascinating to watch- I just wish the OST was available somewhere again. Amazing programmer, composer, and the whatnot, yet games like these just went into obscurity.
I hope remnants of this past pop up once more, especially the music- hearing a song echo from words written long ago, and the triggering of those fond memories- is pretty telling of how memorable it is, even for someone who hasn’t played the game. No idea what’s going on with Scott nowadays, but I wish him good luck.
Thank you give your characters I drew them thank you for making FNaF I respect not all superheroes wear capes but you were my hero your character springtrap I was scared of him at first but the more I drew him I felt more happy was your characters I don't know if you ever get this I appreciate you and your characters have a good retirement let's hope the next person decide to take your shoes of making games a trustworthy enough to keep the FNaF games alive and vibrant little bit of trolling here and there thank you thank you thank you

Scott's solution to making turn based combat interesting was to make it as frenetic and as loud and as fast paced as possible.
I mean, that's one solution.
"How about make them attack at the same time with effects to shield and heal yourself?"
this is the most insane fight sequence I have ever seen
I’m hoping that Scott can take the edge off from FNaF by creating more of these types of quality and amazing games and I say this because I personally enjoyed the desolate hope very much after discovering it a while back. But never the less, Scott Cawthon keep doing what you are great at .
