Apologies for the cliff! I stop where the end of the video is to mess with Umbra mods for a bit and mistakenly thought the confrontation was part of the Prelude to War when editing (it's been a while since I did this). So the confrontation, a bit of Prelude and solo blind Lollypop boss on the next episode.
Canon: the Tenno's ability to empathize with the ones they fear and act compassionately toward their enemies is the core mechanism by which Warframes are able to function. In a way, empathy is the most powerful ability in the Warframe universe. Oh, and you mentioned being concerned at the idea of piloting a dead body. The good news is, you're not. The perhaps more disturbing news is, you're more or less piloting a basically comatose, virtually unkillable body in exchange for soothing its tortured, frightened mind.
That "take away its pain" bit legit made me cry when I played through this. I'm sure many of us can relate to the anguish of a terrible memory that just won't go away, and being able to soothe it is a beautiful thing.
I was reading and writing little bits of stories from a lot earlier than I started gaming, so picking up these things comes a lot more naturally to me than following simple instructions I guess😅 probs my favourite part of going through the quests has been throwing wild conjecture at the wall and seeing what sticks
@@dimp1y Although I'm not a writer, I'm familiar with this approach) I often catch myself thinking that I predict some plot twists in advance. Even though with DE it's difficult because they're too crazy in terms of creating lore for their games 😹
The orokin made themselves blue guys and for some reason, the higher up people gave themselves long dominant arms. This is odd because it’s canon that orokin valued perfect symmetry.
Blue in reference to the term “blueblood” which basically was a way to call someone a noble of some kind or of the upper class, the long arms are weird but could be explained in headcanon as them valuing domination and anything that is less useful (non dominant hand for example) would be symbolically neglected.
@@dimp1y True and to be honest it can be either or both as inspiration since the Orokin were the top 1% elites (more like top 0.02% or smth but eh) and they really overstepped their boundaries as humans and saw themselves as above all else kinda like gods.

Imagine you're a warframe reliving your worst memory for the umpteenth time, and then a teenager in a gimp suit walks in.
Bro 🤣🤣🤣
a CENTURIES old teenager. dont forget the tenno were asleep for hundreds of unknown years after the orokin fell.
