@@wreckitralphbricks8683 leading to their fight all media where Nick was featured made in clear that Nick didn't really wanna fight and was possibly in a bad (mental) spot. So when Nick didn't stood back up when Lawler knocked him down (retiring) Lawler came down to him and was later heard asking Nick "Are you good? (...) No, but are you good, in life?" he then offered him help and said something along the lines of "this is what it's all about" referencing coming together and pushing through adversity.
The Lawler v Condit is very underrated. Not as much blood but the volume and relentlessness of both of them is awesome. To see both of them collapsing into the side of the cage, sucking in air, in total exhaustion, at the sound of the bell after going full ball at each other in the last minutes of round 5 is just amazing. I don’t know why it isn’t brought up more.
Happy to see Robbie get his flowers. Whittaker said it best... There was a point where he was just so intimidating. I wish the UFC had done a marathon of his top 5 fights this weekend.
The way he gutted out that Manhoef fight. Every time Melvin threw a low kick and Robbie's leg flew up, I was just waiting for Melvin to follow up with that punch he cold clocked Mark Hunt with. The punch never came and Robbie blasted him.
Im kinda surprised no one mentioned his ko vs Manhoef. I guess cause it didnt happen in ufc lol. That was a crazy fight that he was essentially losing but ended up rallying and scoring one of the gnarliest ko's!
Agreed, basically got his legs kicked to pieces for a whole round while throwing zero punches then was like "Nah screw this", throws one punch and flatlines Manhoef. One of the greatest comebacks ever
my fav moment was from his strikeforce days vs Melvin Manhoef his leg getting kicked up to his armpit but still finding a moment to land the big KO shot
My uncle took to me to Oahu to the elite XC event back in the day when Robbie fought Falaniko Vitale. Robbie knocked Falaniko out cold and his mom jumped in the ring and started hitting Robbie after the fight lol
my best was Robbie fight was I think his UFC debut fight when he knocked the guy out, and then Robbie ran out of the ring and went backstage. he didn’t even wait and have his hand raised. It was glorious.
Honestly his craziest knockout might've been Vs Melvin Manhoef, Manhoef was beefed up and in his prime basically, lighting lawler up for 2 rounds then booop. The rory staredown is likely the most iconic moment in UFC history... give this guy his flowers. There is no way Condit won that fight, watched it multiple times... Lawler nearly knocked him out twice lol, end of the fight was lawler swarming him with punches and kicks and carlos barely holding on ( I was a big condit fan too)
My favorite Lawler moment was when he Shut Josh Koschecks Big mouth by knocking him out in the Octagon. Gotta say something other than Lawler vs Condit or Macdonald. Robbie vs Melvin Manhoev was good too. Manhoev was destroying Lawler with punches and leg kicks and suddenly Robbie explodes and Melvin is out cold.
See I think the Condit fight was better than the Rory fight. Was much more back and forth and I thought Carlos won....still do. I belive its where we got "5th round Lawler" from....
Did they have imposters poising as mma reporters !! I was shocked Lawler a former ufc champion an ufc icon an future hall of famour was only asked 2 questions the guy's in his last fight of his career I would of thought they could of done alot better then 2 questions. what Lawler has achieved in the ufc over his long career he deserved better. They let the fans down aswell not hearing from the legend in his last fight. Good luck Robbie in your last fight an for the future.
Did Robbie ever knock you out? I am struggling to understand how else you can say that with a straight face. Chandler is a fantastic fighter and brings violence every time, but all these dudes were literally fearful of Robbie Lawler. Chandler is a top tier athlete, but Robbie always seemed like he would kill you if they would let him. He embodied sheer menace and is violence incarnate. I love Chandler, don't get me wrong, but I can't see how anyone could seriously call him "an improved Robbie Lawler".
Best Lawler moment was when he asked Nick Diaz if he was really good after their fight.
One of the most beautiful moments in UFC history.
@@stephenvankleeck4801 what he said? I forgot he dogged nick Diaz

@@Velkan1396 oh yeah I remember that now I hella forgot about that after the fight
@@MrHouse69420No rly, i dont think anyone but you knew that. Thank you for telling us about this lost information that nobody knew.. smh
"You can tell, he would bite you if he could" LMAO Bobby Knuckles spot on
Yeah lol Lawler a straight pitbull of a fighter
@4:35 Whittaker says " you can tell, he'd bite ya if he could" lmmfao

i was about to post this exactly as you mentioned it. He had so many bangers, any of them could be legendary.
Condit keeps quiet, but he really is the natural born killer. That was a great fight though
It's on the Top 10 best fights in UFC history along with his fight w/Rory🤙
They both gave it their all! I agree 💯
Condit won bruh

I finally saw that fight. It shows the depths Robbie would go to to win.
I remember watching live oh his leg is done boom knockout then he's limping around
The editing at the start was dope 💯
one of the craziest Robbie fights was him going the distance with RDA with 2 blown ACLs
And laughing during RDAs 40+ punch combo...
So many robbie memorys!
10 min of ppl saying robbie vs rory.
Glad someone said something different.
Rory vs Robbie one of the greatest fight ever!

Manhoef had Robbie’s leg going up like a Ballerina, and wham!!! Lawler KO out of nowhere.
my fav moment was from his strikeforce days vs Melvin Manhoef his leg getting kicked up to his armpit but still finding a moment to land the big KO shot
That Condit fight was my fave... just the sheer skill displayed, but the one either Rory is unforgettable
My uncle took to me to Oahu to the elite XC event back in the day when Robbie fought Falaniko Vitale. Robbie knocked Falaniko out cold and his mom jumped in the ring and started hitting Robbie after the fight lol
Lmao cool story
I've seen a lot of UFC fights, and I haven't seen one yet that tops Lawler vs McDonald 2
Every fighters favourite fighter that's Robbie
Cuz he Fcken fights to the death! Lol
my best was Robbie fight was I think his UFC debut fight when he knocked the guy out, and then Robbie ran out of the ring and went backstage. he didn’t even wait and have his hand raised. It was glorious.
Cheers to Hooker for bringing up the Carlos Condit fight, love both those guys!
Rory vs Layler is top 3 mma fight ever .
Honestly his craziest knockout might've been Vs Melvin Manhoef, Manhoef was beefed up and in his prime basically, lighting lawler up for 2 rounds then booop.

His fight with Matt Brown always gets overlooked. That was a great fight
My favorite memory was the comeback against Melvin 🔥

Robbie vs Melvin Manhoev was good too. Manhoev was destroying Lawler with punches and leg kicks and suddenly Robbie explodes and Melvin is out cold.
Ruthless he was, Muuuuuuch Respect to Lawler 🤝🤝🤝🫡🫡🫡
I was stoked to watch him vs frank trigg live in hawaii
Best fights were in Super Brawl (Falaniko)and ICON(Frank Trigg). He was Ruthless, good luck on finding those fights as they were in VHS.
Robbie Lawler should have been on the main card. Much respect
Amazing Video thank you !
My favorite Robbie Lawler moment was during THAT interview.
"I wasn't gonna take his neck"
"Then what?"
"... his soul"
😐
Respect to the great RUTHLESS ROBBIE LAWLER!
Robbie is your favorite fighter’s favorite fighter.
Condit did win that fight ;)
I am calling Robbie Lawler out still... to fight me in a Kick boxing match with MMA gloves.
See I think the Condit fight was better than the Rory fight. Was much more back and forth and I thought Carlos won....still do. I belive its where we got "5th round Lawler" from....
5th round Lawler came from the Hendrix rematch when Robbie was determined not to leave it to the judges again...
Oh yeah thats right....respect man.
Robbie with hair wow ruthless
when he destroyed Ben Askren. dammit Herb.
Mike Perry vs Cowboy Cerrone in Bare knuckle Watafahk!!

So Basicall, Chandler is an improve version of Robbie Lawler

A bunch of casuals.
