Welcome to the Tommy Johansson rabbit hole!!!!! He is the guitarist for the band Sabaton, has his own band Majestica (which has a phenomenal Christmas album by the way) and his own UA-cam channel where he releases a new cover song every Friday. You’re going to love his music. If it’s not an actual Disney song……he does Disney versions of Sabaton songs 🤣🤣🤣
But he did Michael Boltons Hercules.

Yes! Tommy does Disney songs! They are actually Sabaton lyrics set to Disney tunes and all are massive upgrades! My personal favorites are "Swedish Pagans", "Go the Distance" and "7 Pillars of Wisdom" but if you just search for "Disney" in his videos a BUNCH will come up, they are called "Disney-ton", unfortunately Tommy has said there will be no more...not sure why, maybe copyright issues? Keep going, Tommy is amazing! Btw, his most recent video "Ave Maria" that he did for Christmas is just phenomenal!❤

I'm glad your parents are doing ok now. Tommy (I saw that one comment told you how his last name is pronounced..like YOhanssEn). As you can see and hear he is such a joy and a gifted artist. He has so many beautiful songs for you to experience. Stay strong and in the light. ❤
YOhanssON, if you say YOhanssEN it sounds like he's from Denmark or Norway. He's Swedish so it should be Johansson not Johanssen.

Great reaction, Cheryle!! I remember seeing The Lion King in the theater back in 1994, only it was dubbed in danish, since I live in Denmark. The original by Elton John is great, but Tommy really takes it to the next level. Heavy Metal singers are some of the best in the world... the range and the skill are impressive! I love the song "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" as well, but also I can recommend Tommys take on the Stan Bush song - "The Touch" from "Transformers: The Movie" (1986) ,- its just a fantastic cover with power and tempo!
He does everything by himself
Tommy J is one of my favourite male singers. For other Disney covers check out Katrina Velarde who does Go the Distance, Reflection (some think better than Christina), When You Believe (not technically Disney but close). As well, Morissette Amon who does a few Disney covers including A Whole New World, duet with Darren Espanto (they were chosen to sing it for the opening of Aladdin in Asia). A fun cover of Poor Unfortunate Souls by Nicolina Bozzo on AGT -ua-cam.com/video/Mt8cKjN5npg/v-deo.html . And another great cover of Circle of Life is by Stan Walker/The Levites (Australian Idol winner). The acapella group Voiceplay does several Disney covers and they are phenomenal. Brian Justin Crum does Into the Unknown. Lastly, Peyton Parrish does some rock covers of Disney that are good. Gosh, so many really good ones out there. Cheers!
