just wanna give some feedback, and tell you how I appreciate the new "format", if we can call it that. I used to think your videos, while sometimes providing some tips here and there, were generally some sort of bait for views, because they were super short, often had like one single clip that would just repeat over and over again while you spoke. Ngl, I would skip some completely at times because of that. Felt like either tips would be too hard to adapt to my gameplay, or would not bring anything mostly because of the singular segments on repeat wouldn't be enough. However, since you started to actually show "live" gameplay as you explain, they feel much more genuine and helpful. I think face cam, while not really changing how we learn whatever you're showing, it does somehow contributes a lot to that "genuine" feeling that you're putting effort into teaching, which in turns I believe actually makes the viewer more receptive. Really like to see mistakes or slight movement problems as you restart shots, it is super helpful imo. It sort of shows instances that feel more like us mere mortals', who don't already understand the subtle details of what makes it work and not work, and gradual steps to follow to reach desired outcome is much much better. So really, good upgrade to your channel imo. I usually watch most tutorials even those I already do perfectly, just in case there's anything that can improve my game (even if just slightly), so I'll definitely watch any future ones! ________ Sidenote question, do you use Steam controller configuration (or anything else) to make a square deadzone or are you just that precise with native inputs? If so, any settings in there that helps avoiding to misalign stick? or flip behavior consistency?
to your question i dont use any, i think if your serious then i think they are good as i think alot of poeple do use them, i just dont really bother as i havnt really been serious for awhile now and no one was using them back then. my settings work for me and i can stall 9/10 times so i just feel like there isnt really much point fixing something that was never a problem. i have my deadzones at 0.15 and 0.3. i wouldnt have anything below 0.1
this might sound stupid but to stop sideflips on stalls i just use a lower deadzone so i really focus on and learn to stall properly. so just really focus on making your joystick straight then youll relearn it. but i also have days where i cant get any stalls
i appreaciate the feedback, i used to make videos very to the point thinking that most poeple just want the main tips and dont want to watch me do any fails. but i guess ive never watched tutorials to learn anything so i dont know what your mind set is watching them. so that i very useful and i will carry on doing them like that!
i agree with facecam. a good mid and camera makes a ton of difference for anything. for some tutorials i will still use the format for example a psycho video coming up i feel i can show specfics alot better. but in general i will keep this style very simialar
@@JamesRL personally, stalls are not my main issue with native circle deadzone (ps5 controller), my biggest problem is even with higher deadzone, just a normal backflip cancel or frontflip cancel makes me roll... Not to mention I cannot get the angle required to start spinning after a normal cancel, so things like 360 maktufs are just really hard to pull off. I like square deadzone from either steam or reWASD, so I'm using that, but it's always super tricky to find the right settings for some of the few extra settings, like anti deadzone and anti deadzone buffer (for steam), or acceleration and initial speed (for reWASD). Like there are so many possible variations, and I've been slightly changing setups or apps over time, just to try to find that one perfect set that would make me feel like nothing else could be improved lol. @@Gev27622 maybe you popping the ball too high after the first reset(don't boost as hard into ball). Maybe the ball isn't going right in the centre of your car. Maybe you are taking too long to stall and the balls falling downwards. Could be alot of things but just compare your clip to others

i need help when ever i use my stall the ball bounces too far for me to get another one ( im trying to do a heli reset )
