I completely agree with Mark. We ARE only apart of this world. When we are dead and gone this world still remains and life goes on for the those that remain. So while we are alive and while we are apart of this life and this world, we need to fully respect it. It’s sad to see that so many do not. Mark and Kimi Werner both said it best, there is no need to go hunting for food from the sea and taking more than is needed, but so many of us are greedy or cruel and that’s why there are many different species that are going extinct. We have to learn to respect today, what God placed here for us, so that we have for tomorrow. There’s a lot more of us in this world that could be more like Mark and Kimi. I hold a lot of respect for these two individuals. Good role models for the rest of us.
footage are so clear, really great! I love scuba diving and keep all these memories thanks to my gopro. I am fascinated by sharks, I loved scuba diving with them in South Africa, a lot better than the cage experience. Most people see them as a threat but human is probably more dangerous with his behavior :(
true. I loved diving in Tahiti. Its an experience everyone should have. It's so depressing to think that such a wonderful place, such awesome people are going to be dealing with a global event that will deeply effect them. It's entirely possible that Tahiti ( as we know it today ) will not exist in the near future.
When do you guys planning on fixing all the gropro hero 6 issues? Auto rotation works on lcd display but not recorded on sd card, gps location doesn’t work, and your $50 external audio cable doesn’t record sound even with the latest update.
I've personally dove with a lot of sharks (huge ones likes these) and they may look scary, but you treat it with respect and know your boundaries and it will do the same.
I couldn't even watch it in Full-Screen, I was that scared, lol. I'd be shaking like a leaf and end up making a brown mess if I was in the water with those sharks :/
At 15 years old I caught a 19' tiger shark 1 mile off Hilton Head NC USA beach on 30lb test no chair no belt standing on a 21' center console. The fight took 4 hours and 3 miles. The shark was so beautiful and massive.
Euge T oh yeah we were there to catch dinner. There is no need to bag something like that. Once we took a quick look we cut the line as short as we could and the trip was over at least physically. we forgot our camera and cell phones didn't exist. Now I have multiple go pros. Lol.
Everytime you eat meat from the store your a sport hunter as well.. Difference is you got to not see the animal die then act high and mighty meanwhile some people are connected to their food
Yes, respect the sharks for the might and beauty they possess. But we ARE the masters of the earth. We are human, they are animals. Quit spewing this symbiotic BS. Be proud to be a human.
So damn true... I never get how those people say themselves as ocean lovers, respectful to the ocean and stuff but they go and kill fish for food. They love and dont kill sharks because they're beautiful and all but still don't give a shit about other fishes.
Do you eat fish? your sushi or fish sticks are depleting the oceans by way of fishing boats with trawlers. Your tuna can affects more the environment than a red snapper or a king mackerel one guy catches with a reel or a speargun.
BEAUTIFUL STORY! Mahalo for sharing! Love the term, "We are not the masters of the world, we're just a part of it!"
...and the great big blue marble is also just a speck !!!
Beautiful, thanks for sharing this video with us.
Every time I hear you speak Mark Healey I appreciate you more... aloHA!

In before the inevitable "Sharks are beautiful, Man is the Real Monster!" comments that repeat over, and over, and over again.

Hey supposed lover of ecosystems, STOP FISHING.
So damn true... I never get how those people say themselves as ocean lovers, respectful to the ocean and stuff but they go and kill fish for food. They love and dont kill sharks because they're beautiful and all but still don't give a shit about other fishes.
Hey recterbert stop eating!👍
Are you vegan?
does it matter what he eats? Saying fishing is destroying our oceans is an absolute fact
Do you eat fish? your sushi or fish sticks are depleting the oceans by way of fishing boats with trawlers. Your tuna can affects more the environment than a red snapper or a king mackerel one guy catches with a reel or a speargun.
"Connect not conquer" That's a beautiful thing to say. But what if you actually act to those words and stop killing fishes for your pleasure?
he ate the fish afterwards
