I am so glad I found your channel. I am new to wire work. I don't know very much about the different wires, etc. You are a great teacher and I love your sense of humour! These links look complicated, but seem simple enough even for me!
Wonderful to have you join me! If you have any questions, just ask away. Believe it or not, I just started making jewelry full-time last year. So I’m still learning too! But I think because I don’t know what you’re really supposed to do to accomplish certain things, I come up with new ways. Wire jewelry has been around for 1000s of years so I can’t come up with too much that’s new😂but I try! Happy creating! 🤗💚✨🧡
This is wonderful Carrie‼️. The simple loops make the entire piece so practical. Again Carrie, I am going for it with square wire and 1/2 round for the wraps. You must’ve had a dad that you helped with his projects. ♥️
Oh, yes, one of these days I’m gonna get square wire etc. Right now, I’m almost out of round in 16 & 18…again! So more round it is! 🤣🤣 My dad is just very ingenuitive and has always been able to make something work with different or limited supplies. My son is the same way. So nice when something breaks and needs fixing! As always, thanks for joining me! 🤗💚✨🧡
Thank you Carrie! I love your tutorials. I always learn something new or a better way to do a particular technique. Your instructions are very clear and concise. Love this design and the possibilities are endless! Thanks for sharing your talents.
Excellent! I just found your channel. Your method of teaching by giving us tips for troubleshooting along the way is very helpful. Now I’ll have to watch all your vids 😁Thank you!

Can you explain a little more of what you mean and I’ll see if I can help. But I’m thinking you might be concerned that the wire ends are not even before you start to wrap. That is totally fine. As long as you have enough to wrap with from one end of one wire and enough on the other end for the little loop. Is that what was concerning or something else? I know, it’s kind of hard to explain what’s going on in just words. 🤗💚
Hi! Is it half hard or dead soft? I only use dead soft… really for the purpose you’re dealing with. And then I work harden pieces in the jewelry tumbler. I will say, the heavier the gauge, even dead soft, will get harder to bend, but 18&16 are usually still manageable. I’m sorry you’re having issues. 😢💚✨🧡
Hmm… it could very well be half hard which is going to be a little more difficult. Especially the 16g. If you see the word “temper” as medium that would also be half hard. But I did look up some Beadsmith wire and, you’re right! It doesn’t even say!
@@carriefoscatodesign Well from now on when I buy it, I'll get it off Amazon where it says dead soft! 🤣 Thanks for your help. Your designs are super adorable and I'm actually learning a lot from your tutorials. Keep them coming!

Love it. I know what I will be doing after dinner tonight while watching tv.🤗
How’d it turn out? 🤗💚✨🧡
I loved the minimalist!!! 😊 I would use 24 gauge to wrap the coin beads, just my personal preference 😂❤💕💜🥳🥳🥳 Thank You Carrie!!!
Yes, me too! I appreciate a lot of curls and twists, but I gravitate to simpler lines. 🤗💚✨🧡

Going on my list!
Woohoo!! 😎💚✨🧡
Carrie I am having trouble with this design being equal on both ends.
I gave a reply on your other comment. 👍💚
I think it is the wires that wrap that is uneven

Carrie I watched the video again and found out what I needed to do thank you for your help.
I'm having a horrible time bending the 18 and 16 gauge wire, what am I doing wrong? 😢

@@carriefoscatodesign it don't say, it's just jewelry wire by Bead Smith brand.
