I love how this one still has all original parts! Most of the Technics stuff i get is already fixed sometime with non original parts.

hello, i have this model, and is so beutiful the quality and power she have, but after 34 years she has problems with the old y dry capacitors/condensers of all boards and i need the service manual to fix, why knows one page of have the manual free? or some with a big heart to gift me? and thanks if help me :)
@@Badassvidsz Sorry, for the late response (youtube dind't notify me): The numbers (or letters) after the first two letters are the manufacturing date. In your case: AE *9* 823C025 The nine is the year 1979 _(0 would be 1980, 1 1981 and so on)_ The next number is the month: AE9 *8* 23C025 The 8 would be August _(months like October have two numbers obviously, so Technics used letters instead. J is october, K would be november and so on)_ and the next two numbers after that are the day AE98 *23* C025 so in your case thats August 23, 1979. Pretty cool system if you ask me.

The SU-8099 is just a dream machine. LOTS of power, extravagant design (you have to like it though), many features, and a great sound. Nice background music btw.

How do you recognise the year ??
